The Rocky Horror Picture Show needs to be rewatched multiple times to get the full effect and catch a lot of the subtleties. It is "camp horror" at its best. I am a big fan of camp so this is right up my alley. I've literally watched this dozens of times over the decades.

18:21 Stuntman Vic Armstrong performed the falling stunt off the bridge and said it was the most scariest fall of his career. I read somewhere that when Vic was asked about his involvement with The Final Conflict and this stunt, he pointed to a mobile phone on the table to the interviewer and said that the landing mat looked around that size from the height he fell from. That must have been absolutely terrifying.

Kirsten Dunst’ ‘Lee’ is based on real life war photojournalist Lee Miller. Lee Miller took some incredible pictures in her time. Her life was unbelievable and her own son Antony discovered her work hidden in the attic after she passed away. There is a film coming up later this year with Kate Winslet as Lee. This reaction is timely in that sense too.

2:49 The trumpet player for the Electric Mayhem was called 'Lips' because Rocky Horror was one of Steve Whitmires favorite movies. 21:32 What's interesting is Columbias part is the only one that doesn't have anything to do with a sexual epiphany, it's mostly about how she went along with everything at first for kicks and eventually it goes downhill when Rocky is created but the memory of Eddie keeps her going. (I'll give them credit for having Columbia be one of the few people to see Frank for what he is and call him out on it)

Unfortunately , you cannot trust Rotten Tomatoes anymore. It started going sideways at least 10 years ago. Too much money changing hands. IMDb is about the only place to trust because of the reviewers bad reviews too.

With this, I have similar feelings to Godzilla 1998. Is it a good Godzilla film? No. Is it a good giant monster movie? Absolutely. Ghost In The Shell 2017 is in no way a substitute or even really a good representation of the original animated film, but it is however a fantastic mid-budget cyberpunk action thriller along the lines of something like 2018's Upgrade. I like it, for what it's worth.

I think the reason you think there should've been more deleted scenes is because you watched the longer director's cut, not the theatrical cut. Good reaction video!

About Susannah cutting off her hair, someone said her hair represented her journey, when she was with Tristan, it was curly, wild and free, now, married to Alfred, in high society, she's doing her best to comb it straight, pull it back, now she'd fed up and rejecting that, by cutting it off, before ending her life

Same score out of me too. Definitely a servicable summer blockbuster with great visual effects, but the only character I cared about was Glen Powell's and the tornado sequences weren't as thrilling as I had hoped. Great review, dude!

i love how u were open to watch this..there is such an Art to these silent movies..another good one is HAXAN 1922 which is spooky and interesting! i saw it on YT and i liked the "unofficial score" which when i researched it, is a LIVE performance by matti bye at the san francisco silent film festival when they screened the film (plus the original score didn't do it for me as the 1st time i saw HAXAN i was instantly in love with the matti bye one as were others. its hypnotic! this video with the cool score is on channel UNITED GLOBAL PICTURES...silent movie about witchcraft and satan haha.. apparently the JUMP SCARE really scared audiences when lucifer pops out from behind a chair...i also study Criminology and found it to be a weird coincidence that a matti bye clip is used on true crime channels like criminally listed. small world

theatrical version is better (not this one) - it was edited perfectly - the extended, with it’s too many medical tests, and the extra unnecessary conversation btween the priests outside the bedroom, and even the spider walk (which i admit is creepy & cool) all interrupt the flow - often these extended cuts of movies are put out to make money, and sometimes nearly ruin an otherwise wisely edited original classic - same is true for Alien, and Aliens - in my opinion

I guess I saw a different version. The version I saw was -13 out of 5 (waste of $6). Random scenes, slow, ridiculous soundtrack, bad cinematography and very not believable. Total loss of opportunity to make a good movie for a timely subject. Anyway, love the channel.

Great reaction David! I watched this last night and I agree with you! Three out of five stars! About you saying that this movie did not really push out the waterworks for you, I agreed with you on that. For me, there are two heartbreaking scenes in disaster films that you already saw. The first is THE TOWERING INFERNO, when the lady falls off the elevator and Fred Astaire finds out at the end and WHEN TIME RAN OUT when Burgess Meredith's wife dies from her weak heart and Paul Newman later tells him that his wife would've been proud of him for rescuing those two kids. There is another heartbreaking scene in THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE but I'll not spoil it for you since you have not seen it yet! LOL!

There was a conclusion about Emily and Major Payne. At the end when the blind dude was mouthing off to him he said "Corporal (talking to Tiger)! Tell Ma bring my field knife!" Meaning he did in fact marry her and adopted Tiger.

Bruce thought the west in sports focused too much on over musculization. He at what time had put on an extra 20 pounds, I think. It slowed him down so he went back to what he was doing. He cared more about speed and power! He really believed in plyometrics. He cared more about developing fast twitch muscle fibers and tendon and ligament strength vs muscle size! At the time, nobody could touch his speed.

I was 11 years old when I first saw this. It was my 1st rated R movie, and I saw with my older brother and my Dad. Before this, my Dad would send me to another room when dirty movies were on. I've never seen my Dad laugh so hard at a movie. But for me, it was a huge deal. I bragged to everyone I got to see it. Still got it on DVD to this day. Thank you for reacting to this!! Great reaction!

I've been on a Gran Tornino reactions binge, and just got introduced to this channel here. Love your authenticity and how you're not trying too hard, or over talking. Some other channels do this and it's obnoxious. But not you. You're very attentive yet not feeling you have to react at every little thing. And then when you do react, it's very thoughtful.. After all, we older viewers just want to know the reactor is watching it first and foremost, which they can't do when they constantly talk. I really enjoyed your reaction. I look forward to watching more of your episodes.

None of this is as interesting or believable as what is happening in real life. A modern American civil war is fought with intelligence agencies, not secessionist armies. Now we have an "assassination" attempt where the shooter was a member of the same party as the "target" and found without a sniper rifle, but an assault rifle. The Secret Service are claiming that they were told to stay away from the location of the shooter before the attempt. This looks like the shooter was staging an assassination attempt by merely shooting into the crowd of spectators and didn't have any intention of hitting the "target".
