Hello~ I've heard from other customers who use Office 365 that it works for them, so you may just need to allow the macros to run if it's not opening properly. I'm not sure if you downloaded the test version to try out first, but basically there's background code that has to be allowed to run in order for the functions to work properly. If you want to message me on Etsy, maybe we can try a few things together.

@@redd8209 Ok, just let me know either way. We might need you to download a zip file instead as Windows sometimes likes to "help" by disabling some functions during the download process.

What you could do is just go to File/Save As and give it a new name for your revision so that you can reopen that version later. You can save as many versions as you want, plus it would be nice to have a backup version just in case.. 😁

sorry but no, it can't import pictures, but if you have the pixellated picture, you could redraw it in the template so that it can add X's for you & show you where the errors are. 😊

This is for Overlay Mosaic where you have 2 colors & you switch each row so that all the odd number rows have one color and the even number rows have the other color. I'm not sure what technique you are describing other tha some people do overlay mosaic with 3 colors, but I'd say the majority use the 2 color method like what I'm describing. 😁

I think it's totally possible but keep in mind that mosaic tends to take out some of the finer detail so it just depends on the design as far as how good it will look once converted to overlay mosaic. 😁

Hi there~ So the templates can't increase in size due to how the coding works, however if you are using repeats, you could pick various templates to repeat to that size you want. Otherwise you could use the largest template & just create sections of the pattern. If you are making a PDF that's going to be printable to the user, you'd want to break up the chart anyway so that it's easy to read after printing. 😁

Usually they are making pillows & block afghans with the squares, sometimes cool tote bags, wall hangings, and then you get the unusual ones like someone made a vest once & another made a halter top! (those were tagged to my IG page). And sometimes the pattern is repeated multiple times in a row for a blanket as well.. Anyway, hope to see you there! :)

I just like using Excel and know it very well so that's why I made myself a template to use for my own designs in the first place. 😊

So from my understanding, tapestry crochet is all sc's and many times there are lots of other colors, whereas overlay mosaic is usually just 2 colors that alternate every other row, so this technique is incorporating a 2nd color within the row. That's my take on it, at least! :)

As long as you change during a blsc that will be hidden by a fldc in the next row, and change before you get to where the color is needed, (even if it's one stitch before), that should work. Of course depends on the design so you might always want to do the clean switch method during the last stitch of one color to get the next color on the hook for that section.

The process to convert a C2C is a bit different than how you'd convert a regular sc graph, as you just use the same number of stitches & rows, but have to convert based on the mosaic rules.. Hard to explain here but there are lots of "how to overlay mosaic" videos that might help.

lol, YES, there is a cat whining in the background!! Funny that you thought it might be yours.. I did have to mute myself yelling at her to shut up, haha!! Glad you like my bugs - hopefully all my written instructions will help make sense, and of course good to also go along the chart at the same time for reference, and then I'm always around if you have questions. :)

I leave them in the skeins. Sometimes I need to untangle them but it's worked for me so far. :)
