Con bướm đó có đôi cánh thật là đẹp . Chim đang bay lượn cũng đẹp , và đẹp hơn hết là chim nhỏ . Oh chiếc máy bay đó chắc là sắp đáp xuống phi trường ? John , vừa rồi đang xem video của bạn , T nhìn thấy một con chim chào mào bay đến đậu trên nhánh ổi trước nhà . Trời mưa , có nhiều ổi chín trên các nhánh ổi . Thật khó quay một con chim bằng điện thoại , và cũng không thể quay vì nó ồn ào một chút và bay rồi ! 😊

Chỗ hơi sâu là đoạn ngay bên bờ ruộng , T đã theo các anh chị họ xuống tắm và bị đỉa bám vào đầu gối . 😊 Chỗ suối cạn , chảy vòng vo quanh các thửa ruộng , nước chỉ ngập bàn chân , trong veo . Oh John , con bướm thật đẹp . Đôi cánh của nó có thể đuổi ong đi , hoặc ong đã hút đủ mật . Ở đây , lúc trước vào buổi chiều , đôi khi T cũng nhìn thấy những con Cò trắng , nhỏ . T đạp xe băng qua một nghĩa trang địa phương , con đường nhỏ còn chưa trải nhựa . Trên những nấm mộ có nhiều con Cò trắng đứng trên đó . Chúng trắng đẹp , và không bao giờ ở ngoài rìa cạnh đường đi . Có lẽ chúng nghỉ đêm trong nghĩa trang . Đôi khi ban đêm T cũng nghe tiếng kêu khàn khàn . Ở sân sau , nhìn lên không và bắt gặp một vài con Cò vừa bay ngang qua . @@johnluk Hồi còn nhỏ , T cũng sống ở đô thị cùng với cha mẹ và các anh chị em . Khi nghỉ hè , hoặc có dịp gì đó , T được về quê chơi , nhà của dì của T , là chị gái của mẹ của T , cách xa khoảng hơn 100 km . Ở thôn quê thật sự rất thích thú . Và T chỉ vào trong nhà khi đến giờ ăn cơm . Suốt những ngày ở thôn quê , T lùng sục trong vườn , hoặc ở trên cánh đồng . Khi phải trở về nhà để đi học , ở trong xe đò , tức là loại xe lớn chạy đường dài chỏ khách , T nhìn vào cái gương nhỏ trong xe và thấy mặt T đen như đít nồi ! Ha ha ..... Một cô bé tóc xoăn , má phồng như cái bánh bao và đen thùi lùi vì nắng ! 🤭

Thank you Josephine! I guess that in most bird species the males are the most likely to be calling. This guy seems to be shrugging and coping with regret judging by some of his piteous sounds.

John , T thích mọi thứ trong video , rất đẹp . Nhưng thích nhất những con chim nhỏ . 💖☺️ T cũng thường nhìn thấy những con chim tranh nhau thức ăn , hay chăm chú vào trái ổi chín trên cây trước nhà . T thích những con chim trên cành cây đầy những chùm trái nhỏ . Nó khiến T nhớ những cây dại trên những cánh đồng khi T còn nhỏ . Có những trái dại rất đẹp nhưng không ăn được , thật tiếc . 😊

Remarkable how quickly you get used to a new species. For a few decades we got highland cows in the dunes, since a moth we got for the first time cattle egrets in our area! They sit under and on the highland cows! Few weeks ago I mentioned it to every passer-by. Now I just keep walking without looking at them. There are more important species to discover during the migration season, like wryneck and rosy starling.

Thank you so much Marc, yes I know what you mean, a few years ago I was amazed to see Little Egrets here, now they’re commonplace. Next it was Great Whites and they’re becoming more common. Cattle Egrets are still rare on my patch but I’m sure the day will come when they’re established here in Wales. I haven’t seen a Wryneck for a few years and never seen a Rosy Starling!

@@johnluk exactly same here with all those white herons (and they are still lovely of course). I remember seeing three little egrets in one day in the nineties. That was enough for my good friend and I to celebrate that in our local pub. Rosy starling-adult! and wryneck are the first experiences in my region. So yes it was special for me too.

Hi Patricia, the weather is still ridiculously changeable this week and seems to be mocking the forecasters, if they say it will be sunny it’s overcast, if they say rain it’s sunny. Next week is supposed to be much better but as things stand I wouldn’t bet on it! 😊 I went out early yesterday and just released a video of that but I probably won’t go out again until next week. Good luck whether you’re in France or Japan for your next compilation. 🍀🍀🤞🤞🙏

Hello John! What kind of weather are you having? Swans swimming in meadows and cattle egrets in the water of those same meadows ! Thank you Patricia, yes sounds like we’re both suffering with these torrential showers although it’s more like April in that when not raining it’s been fine and sunny. It was sunny today but rain and 40 mph wind predicted for tomorrow. I’m still editing stuff from my last trip to Somerset and doing some DIY and haven’t been out birding since I got back. I am hoping to go out next week, fingers crossed for something unusual! Hope you’re well and enjoying your time in the Loire Valley! 😊😊👍‼️

I'm just over at Blashford Lakes in Verwood and am watching what I'm almost certain is a Common Sandpiper. I'm in the Lapwing Hide.

That’s great to hear! Common Sand has that white inverted ‘V’ just before its wing, Green has an unbroken line of darker plumage. I’ve never been to a Blashford Lakes.

Really enjoyed your video with such a variety of birdlife. I've never seen so many curlew together. Great concentration to keep up with the shy chiff chaff and the other smaller birds, plenty of lovely shots. Thank you.

Thank you Yvonne, you’re very kind! The Curlews usually roost in the lagoons in the winter, I don’t know why they’re out on the estuary, maybe all the maintenance work is keeping them away.

hello, thanks for the vid. pretty sure i just saw a little tern at the end of a jetty in north east england, having a preen. could it be a late migrator or having a rest on its way to africa?

Wow, that is very late. I am no expert on Little Terns though as this was my first (and only) sighting. There definitely weren’t any around when I returned to Littlesea a week ago although I saw Sandwich Terns there.

Thank you! Goldcliff is only a few miles from where I live and it takes about twenty minutes to drive there and if I go in the opposite direction I can be in the Brecon Beacons in half an hour so I’m very lucky!

Bình thường ở đây T chỉ nhìn thấy được chim sẻ , chim én . Đôi khi có vài con chim chào mào bay đến vào buổi chiều rồi bay đi ngay . Và cũng thật ngạc nhiên khi có một con Sáo xuất hiện liên tiếp ba , bốn ngày . Hôm nay , con chim nhỏ chỉ còn 1 chân đã quay trở lại sau hơn nửa năm . T đã nghĩ nó bị săn bắt rồi chứ . Nó bay đến cùng một con khác , vẫn lanh và khoẻ mạnh . 😊

Nơi tôi sống hiện tại, tôi thấy những loài chim đó nhưng cũng có cả chim họa mi, chim đen, chim đầu xanh, chim hồng tước và chim ác là nhưng Goldcliff không xa lắm và tôi thấy những loài chim khác ở đó! 😊💖

Thank you Patricia. Actually at this time of the year dawn is around 7:20 so not so early. In mid-summer I was getting up at 5:30 or earlier to catch the dawn. Yes poor Avocet, seems to have broken its leg, maybe that’s why it was lingering in the pool, we don’t usually see them again until late March early April when they come in to breed. We did have nice weather for a few days but it’s turned very showery this week, I’m in Somerset, hope I can get out birding but very weather dependent as my camera isn’t shower proof! Good luck this October, looking forward to your update.😊😊👍👍🐦🐤🐦
