I have a couple of Sabres and a Bruins Made in Canada jerseys, they are absolutely worth the extra cost when you can find a good deal. The new fanatics ones are a bit too much for me, so I watch for good deals on adidas ones whenever I can.

Fun Fact: did you know the Neues Rathaus of München was built in 3 phases. The oldest phase is the most symmetral right half side with the central pointed open balcony/loggia. The left side with the tower and Glockenspiel was added 30 years later around 1900. And the tower was modelled on the City Hall tower of Brussels. And finally a third section was completed at the Marienhof making it a complete city block.

Thanks to today's video I think I understand why the Munich city hall is asymmetrical. Since Marienplatz is only 50 metres wide, the Rathaus tower was moved further to the left of the centre of the building so that the full height of the tower could be seen at least from the long end of the square - from the Altes Rathaus (where you started today's video)

When did Bure wear the first? Starter authentics had much higher quality logos. That's why I don't bother with replicas.

The South Korean government blocked Google Maps because Google refused to edit their maps to remove government buildings and other sensitive sites. South Korea and North Korea are still technically at war, and the South Korean government is very security conscious.

I have long waited for this moment. I'm SUPER happy that I got the reaction out of you that I envisioned. You are most welcome and I'm glad to help. Your smile from ear to ear when you were looking closely at the jerseys and feeling the material, that was all priceless for me. Made me smile while I watched you talk about them. If there was anyone that I could make a collection even better, you are the one! If you only want to keep one jersey of each of these two you unboxed, you could always sell the Adidas "retail authentic" versions you already have. Or if you more so have replica versions. The first time I ever shopped at Pro Stock Hockey was in 2022 and bought a pair of Arizona Coyotes jerseys. I plan to eventually customize those. As I explained when told you about the sale, these are basically leftover out-of-production game-issued jerseys that a select number of teams had. Pro Stock Hockey purchased them directly, then sold them to the public at deep discounts. We know Adidas never made the "Made in Canada" on-ice jerseys available at the retail level, so it usually is a tough task to get our hands on a new condition one. Pro Stock Hockey makes it possible for a handful of teams. I remember when NHL on-ice authentic jerseys were always available many years ago. It was when CCM manufactured them. During the Adidas era that just ended last season, I always compared their Indonesian-made "retail authentic" jerseys to the CCM authentics made near Montreal. Now you see the difference between what we bought since 2017 to the absolute real thing you now have in your collection. I'm very upset Adidas did not do this for us. Oh yeah, Pro Stock Hockey throws in a free bag of hockey stick tape for customers. Basically once they are all sold, they are gone for good. You made great choices. God that Rangers one looks so damn good. Even though size 58 is very big for me, you might have me reconsider snagging one within a month if there is any left by then. Congratulations on the purchase! So happy you did.

I think for Germany it would have to be Munich. You can't look at DEL attendance statistics and say "oh, they are almost selling NHL ticket numbers in the DEL already, it's a great market for the NHL", because they are selling these numbers at DEL prices. The majority of the standard DEL crowd will not be able to afford NHL tickets at a regular basis. Because of that, you would probably have to create a completely new team that exists alongside the existing DEL team, because all those die hard fans who won't be able to afford the NHL would protest if you tried to transform the existing team into an NHL franchise. So if anything, the existing team would probably end up being competition for the NHL team in terms of attendance and many if not most fans of the existing team will probably stay loyal to the DEL team. In short, the NHL would most likely not be able to take over the existing fanbase in a city, but would have to build it's own fanbase which will most likely be a completely different bunch of people: Corporate season ticket holders, affluent hockey fans and lots of event fans who only watch a few games each season. So in the end, most DEL fans will probably stick to the DEL team and watch all of their home games and only attend a few NHL games per season, with more of an event character. So why would Munich be a better market in my opinion: Main reason: Bavaria and especially the area is the wealthiest part of the country and even though no single team reaches the same attendance numbers as Cologne, Berlin or Mannheim, hockey is very popular in the state of Bavaria. These are the hockey cities in Germany's top 3 leagues that are close enough to munich to travel to munich and go back home in a single day (as a cut-off I used 3 hours of one way travel without a flight): DEL (14 teams total): Munich, Augsburg, Ingolstadt, Straubing, Nuremberg, Mannheim DEL2 (14 teams total): Rosenheim, Landshut, Ravensburg, Regensburg, Kaufbeuren, Selb, Weiden Oberliga (25 teams, 13 OL south, 12 OL north): Memmingen, Peiting, Deggendorf, Passau, Bad Tölz, Füssen, Lindau, Bayreuth, Höchstadt, Stuttgart, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bietigheim Those are 25 German hockey cities within 3 hours from Munich already and in addition to that, you would also get a lot of fans from Austria as well, e.g Salzburg, Linz, Innsbruck, Zell am See, Feldkirch, Bregenzerwald, Kitzbühel. I'm absolutely convinced that no matter which city you choose, the city alone will not be enough to fill arenas at NHL ticket prices and that you need to consider a wider catchment area and with Munich you get a state that is very passionate about hockey and has the money to afford NHL tickets.

The South Koreans do work longer hours compare to Western countries (although not as much as the 996 system in China), and the culture is very hierarchical and deferential to seniority. It's less than 50 years since it was a military dictatorship with a terrible human rights record, and it's still politically volatile.
