Tried this again this year with equally poor results. The power switch is in the worst posible place - on the bottom of the unit. You have to hold the machine in one hand and use your other hand to switch it off. You can't hold it in one hand and flick it off with your thumb like you would your phone or a flashlight.

THANK YOU! I should have watched this video years ago. I’ve been struggling to shear my sheep…I had no clue about the tension knob. What use to take hours sometimes days to sheer, it now takes no time at all! You just got a subscriber!

And it will break either the flexi drive or the solid drive pole so don't over tighten you can feel it threw the handpiece could be blunt combs or cutters too so check that out too

The shearers are amazing people. Hard physical work and the skill they have in getting the wool off in one piece. They earn every penny of the pay.

Shearing is an art. The way they shear so that the wool comes off in one piece is amazing.

I like how well you treated this little sheep. Very kind and gentle not like some others that I've seen just tossing them around. Poor things are already hurting and scared. Thank you for this. I am a 43- year old mother of 5, who now has to learn how to shear my flock of 15 sheep, since I live rurally and nobody wants to come out to me anymore. I am confident I can learn due to videos like yours. I imagine one day we might all have to learn the skills that people before us knew how to do so well. Have a wonderful day.

Just give your cattle a salt block and do rotational grazing and you will not have this problem. People with pink eye just wash with salt problem gone.

Certainly keeping a close eye on your livestock is a game changer. Rotational grazing is of utmost importance.

Great video! I am over here in Canada and i was wonder if there is a way to sharpen comb and cutters yourself. To get them sharpened is very expensive here. pretty well the price of new one. if there is i was wondering if you could make a video! cheers mate.
