5 hours of sleep in coach.., I am impressed. I am 6 foot 6 so thats unlikely to happen🙂. Alcohol and sleeping pills can help, but one pay the price afterwards. For a long haul flight in coach to Asia I prefer to stop in Doha.. But I mostly chose business these days. Fun fact: once in economy to Bangkok there were so few people on both legs on Qatar, that is was possible to rest using 3 seats, however a chatty (bored) flight attendant constantly interrupted my sleep.

Any options, British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, or direct flight with Singapore Airlines or Qantas? What do you recommend? Maybe something else? P.S. Was great to use with Miles & Smiles points until this last year when they devalued their point system (e.g., was 210k to fly from USA mainland to IST roundtrip. Now they raised it to 270k roundtrip). Also, why does this airline not offer a pre-departure sparkling wine /champagne beverage in business class? In addition, outside of the IST lounge, most other destinations use contract lounges that are the size of a closet and much less to be desired.

good video .. that is horrifying tho .. same seats and even in a 3 config is blood curdling .... yes the food .. but good lord .. no.. they need to do better... westjets new business class has it figured out ...as far as business class should go ... of course Emirates/Ethiad/Singapore etc have the corner for first class... but that is wild .. Icannot stand those seats when paying them $5000 half westjet half air fance.... yikes their turbine sows like Air Bankok ... and that is not a complement... sketchy ..glad I looked the plane up and thanks for putting A321 specifically in your title to help ensure I have the right plane. When I chat with aviation enthusiasts and tell them the story how I once sat in the front cabin lounge first class of Air France B-747 , smoking cigars with an American who had invited me to join him to have a chat… Nobody believes me because there are no vlogs about B-747 front nose lounges where you have cigars and whiskey. Nice flight Bangkok-Saigon btw 1990 or so

Great video✈️. I thought the food looked inviting, nice presentation. Yes, Fazer chocolate is second to none. (I can recommend the iconic Fazer Café at Kluuvikato 3 in Helsinki. My favourite is the russian caramel Kinuski, as a candy or as an ingredient in a special cake🙂).

⚠️ Fake title, you were happy with the flight! You really think everyone is going to watch the whole 18 min clip to find out what is the reasoning behind it? That the airline has now updated the business cabin in all wide bodies and THAT old configuration is not available anymore! Hence, “NEVER AGAIN”? Very disappointing.

Just stumbled across this review and I’ve got to say I’m laughing at these comments defending SAS Plus. I don’t get it why people defend it and why scandinavians are willing to pay for it, when it’s easily the worst business product in europe. And yes, it is business, no matter what SAS tries to brand it as to get away with the terrible product. Look over the pond and you have Finnair, which while not perfect by any means, actually has a business class worthy intra-european product, and on the short flights where they can’t provide such a service they just don’t have business class at all.

I recently flew with Qantas from Melbourne to Hong Kong in a A330.I was looking forward to this flight as it would be the first I have flown with Qantas since the pandemic and all the negative publicity Qantas has received lately. I was seated about half way in the plane in 34A. The first meal service the options were chicken or beef. I wanted the chicken but they had run out by the time they got to me. (I was half way in the plane). The beef was inedible, gristle and fat, the vegetables were just okay. The second service was a repeat on the first, they had run out of my choice by the time they got to me and I was offered beef again, it was stir fly and was so tough I couldn't eat it. I was really hoping Qantas would be getting better but alas it was not to be. My return journey from Seoul was marginally better. the service was just okay, not much engagement and certainly not the Qantas I have experience in the past. Hears hoping Qantas can get their mojo again as it is the flag carrier of Australia it would be my preferred choice,

This is actually an "older" configuration of the A350-900. Air France is flying a new config with 292 seats (56 in business class) that is even nicer than this. It is a fully enclosed suite (the door closes all the way), has a tablet for all the controls and has USB-C. Sadly, there is no plans to upgrade this configuration to the newest one.
