What type of rod do you prefer when frog fishing? Do you go with a moderate or fast action

Good morning. The one in the video is a dobyns fury series mag heavy fast action 7’3”. Typically what I use. Need the backbone and it’s not too expensive. The reel is a shimano curado hgk 8.5:1 to pick up the slack in the line quickly. I appreciate you watching

Went through ankle ligament surgery and I can't do crap but sit in bed. It sucks because I do everything and never stop. Now I'm forced to watch the grass grow. Contemplating🤔 how I can make a brace to attach to my leg to keep my foot off the ground, no weight and have no crutches. I know they make a brace like this somewhere on the Internet.😂

Firstly, I’m sorry to hear that. I understand completely. I need to be doing things. I just got done with five weeks of not being able to do much at all mostly being in bed. In one week, my doctors gonna tell me yeah you can go fishing but you can’t lift that kayak because this is my second hip replacement. I showed him this video on the first one and he said OK.

Great video. All the fish you caught were beautiful. I definitely struggle the few times I've fished really muddy water. Will keep you tips in mind next time I'm in that situation.

Lot of dinks too. But I didn’t include them. The spittin wa truly shined. The chatter bait would be a good option as well, but I was doing so well on the frog and I just love Topwater.

Great fish! That's a special place but the lack of water flow has really changed it. The East end is becoming more crowded as Seaholm chokes up.

Hey, just so you know Darrell and I are going to Decker on the 11th and you are more than welcome to join us. It's a Tuesday. Fished LadyBird Saturday and Sunday over Memorial Day weekend did not catch anything but smalls. It was super crowded.
