Why I can't stop fishing this urban oasis? Well because there are big largemouth bass here. Today I'm kayak fishing Ladybird lake in Austin Texas and having one of my best days of fishing for bass. The paddletail rigged on a Texas eyes jig head came through.

You put a whopping on them. I was in Austin a couple of weeks ago but I didn’t have my kayak of rods with me. I did drive down to see the festival launch area and holiday inn launch. Some of those areas looked a little sketchy. Where do you launch at?

@@randyprovost8426 not at all. But west of IH 35 you do have to pay for parking on the street. If you could find a spot under the bridge on the north side of the lake, that’s free also.
