Mamie VanDoren lived with her new husband in an apartment not far from my family home around 1966. When she was on Johnny Carson she described her town, Lodi California as a “ hick town”. 😮

In the mid-2000s when radio stations called Jack FM and Bob FM were popping up everywhere, the first thing I thought of was a radio station called Frank.

The Davvy subplot is the most interesting part of this entire dull TV movie.

Oh my God. When crow asked "is that the ghost of a cow?" At 57:41, which is freaking hilarious, I JUST REALIZED it's the older guy saying "I'm alright" I literally thought it was a car backfiring or some sound of punching for the longest time.

"You'll risk the seven curses?" "Hah, LOVE that Carlin bit!" Kinda like how I love this movie. I’m glad we can all agree it’s one of the best MST3k films out there, on its own.

Here's a true fact regarding the Love American Style/Love Satellite style skit, Back when people were stressed since the beginning of the 70's regarding the Vietnam war, civil rights, etc, Numerous silly tv shows like Love American Style were made to help balance it and provide a life of escapism, Way unlike how numerous tv shows nowadays are full of war, misery, rated r cartoons, really offensive, dark, satirical, politically "incorrect" plots, etc. (much like some movies in the 70's) While "Love American Style" is considered fine back then, Nowadays it's considered bad, and too corny. So it's no wonder the MST3K cast decided to make fun of it. (while they ironically, mentioned that show while riffing some movies)

Many of you admit how unwatchable this is. But suprisingly, my mother loves this movie with the riffing despite the movie's weird dialouge whenever someone (other than the narrator) speaks. She finds the movie to be "so-bad it's-good", She also surprisingly likes "Monster A Go-Go" for similar reasons, despite how that movie's just lazy, incomprehensible, and with no special effects. But understandably, she hates The Wild World of Batwoman and Red Zone Cuba. Those were too much for her.

The Coffee Shop Skit was very accurate. While Coffee shops are very common nowadays, back when they first became popular, many people in them did poetry and all sorts of pompous acts for fame.
