This game doesn't seem to be available in the US or Euro Switch stores but if you get it from the Japanese store (which you'll have to create a seperate account for) it does have English subtitles!

This is an absolutely disgusting game fetishizing abuse and imprisonment. There is no way to look past this, it is literally meant for people who get enjoy seeing suffering. Are there really no other games to review? This fetishization and seuxalization is already impacting modern anime too much.

@TheNrat maybe, but I think the anime most people got exposed to in the west at the time was the good parts, heavily filtered by the censors. But as the West censored less and less it actually resulted in more sexualization where now it is almost impossible for MC to have a younger sister without the show trying to add at least a bit swxualization to her. I think drawing the line at abuse, prisons, and slavery as a consumer is honestly not too much to ask.

I'm not sure what you meant by the imprisonment part. This is literally an escape room game but with anime girls and anime fanservice. As for abuse, I can sort of see what you meant but at the same time, there are reasons why BDSM exists. One of the best sellilng books, Fifty Shades of Grey, a dark romance novel aimed at women, has a lot of BDSM in it.

Couldn't finish the game. It got boring half way through. There was nothing new to make the combat feel fun as you progress further in the game. Will prob give it another chance in a couple years when I have nothing else to play

little tip for leveling other archetypes, play as one youve already mastered and start using the fruits. you get instead of archetype levels. I did that and i could max out an archetype for each character in maybe an hour, probably less time than that if you have your whole party set to a mastered archetype. you end up getting 5-10 fruits every battle and you only need about 50 or so to max out any other given archetype. i maxed out every archetype for every character just about in my 2nd playthrough.

Wish they would do this with the old dragon warrior monster games. Dark Prince was a huge letdown
