I got the same one telescope rod and the but extends also 🧐 you didn't show that. Me I like the longer but or handle whatever you call it. Pull to extend 🤔 I didn't get the reel. Put a Oakum epixor XT is just perfect for it for lake Brown, rainbow trout fishing. With no problem yet. Nice video on the combo

A you catch good catfish on the barge canal? I was thinking more so close to the bridge (which is right of the parking) would be a good spot if the channel cats are in there. I’ve also heard of nice size crappie being in there, would that area be good to catch those as well? Do you know how deep it is over there? Not the whole canal but more so the area to right of the parking lot by that bridge or over pass

I’m not sure, but as long as you have your drag set right it should be able to handle it fine

I haven't fished salmon yet, but I fished big trout a lot, looks like Salmon and Trout are similar in chasing lures, the big brown trout I caught were mostly within 6feet from the shore, although I cast really far, like 30ft.

@@Kyle-wr3gh I use a shimano Sedona 2500 and 15 lb test for stripers and 10-12lb for bass. The brand I like is p line cxx
