Probably my favorite guitar solo of all time if not my favorite moment in music overall. Fun story: I called in to a local metal station to request Meshuggah since I had only heard Future Breed Machine. They played this song for me. The rest is history as they say. This was 1996 by the way. lolz. I'm old.... Very well done cover! Tight as hell.

Сложнейшая композиция! Ее сыграть безошибочно очень трудно...Представляете как на концерте в живую это должно быть отточено? Когда добавляются все инструменты + вокал и это все должно быть синхронизировано! Вот почему Nightwish - бесподобны!!!
@evur_tweak2 жыл бұрын

Don't hear much difference. Prefer the Revv Red channel from the 100R! Not a huge fan of the Purple on the 100P. The Engl Savage 120 is amazing however.

Hi chris. Do you have to modifi the pickup cavity to change the pickups? . I ask you 'cause one guy told's me That it needed but i don't trust in him. Cheers from italy
@ChrisRiffinski4 жыл бұрын
Hi Fabian, no I did not need to modify the pickup cavity to change the pickups. I made sure to purchase new pickups that were the same size as the originals, so I just dropped them in. Cheers from Canada!

Hey Chris, on my crap headphones a lot of amps sound the same to me miked up. Interested in the 100P but unsure as it is a lot of money while used amps like VHT and Peavey are $600 - $1300. Is the Revv that much better in your opinion? Looks amazing and tons of options but I am simply after the most brutal tones I can get from an amp.
@ChrisRiffinski4 жыл бұрын
Hey, if you're after one thing only, then saving money might be a good idea. In my opinion, for brutal tones, both the Revv and 5150 (for example) sound amazing. Not quite identical, but great in their own way. The Revv is nice because it does lots of things really well - great distortion without an OD, great crunch, amazing cleans. With the Peavey, it's more of a one trick pony. Don't expect a good clean out of it, and at the very least you need an OD to get the gnarly distortion. If you're sure you won't have a musical change of heart and won't need clean tones, I'd give you my blessing to go after a Peavey or something similar. Otherwise, the Revv will have you set for any musical situation you might get into. Hope this helps
