+Nicolás Ignacio Díaz Castro Hey! That was just a quick tune that I wrote for Glenn and the demo; it doesn't have a name

Great playing, man. Is there any particular way to write riffs that you enjoy? I've found that when I jam with a band, I tend to come up with generic and boring riffs, but when I jam on my own, I make some different, better, and more complex riffs that I enjoy. Is this the same for you?

Yeah I feel the same way - jamming with people tends to make me think of more complimentary guitar parts that go well with what everyone else is playing. When I jam alone I can think of all the instruments and I can get a punchier, more exciting sound with my riffs. What I like to do is fool around and experiment until I find a neat idea, then I see how far I can take it (no matter how crappy I think it is at first). Also, groove is a big thing for me. If I'm not bobbing my head, I'm not doing something right.
