Camera vans were originally put in accident hot spots, now they are strategically placed to gain as much revenue as possible, road safety has absolutely nothing to do with this..

its on the road now and hoping to get it on dyno very soon. did some final tweeks last week on it and now running AFR gauge so can monitor it too. hopefully be finished in the next month

All cameras and vans should be camouflaged or hidden, the speed limits are there for a reason. Where I live it’s on a private estate with a 3pm-h limit, it should be 20 there are still morons that do well over 50 or more even though there are children here.

Do these vans have cameras out the front too? I was headed towards one doing 50 in a 40 but slowed down on approach as I passed the van the camera was hanging out the back of the van but I’m still a little worried

There is a camera at the front that records a vehicle’s rear number plate. Needed for motorcycles.

There wasn't a front number plate on *mine* either, but I got 3 points & a £100 fine last year. My fault, blaming no-one else...🙄 - 75 in a 60 on our bypass. BTW, it's *not* "all about money". 2 weeks ago, 5 bikers died in 2 separate collisions on Derbyshire roads & this weekend, 2 more have died on North Yorkshire roads. Obviously I don't know if speed was a factor but the police say that the hardest thing to do is knock on a door & inform families that their family member isn't coming home. I've been on (& occasionally *off!* ) bikes for over 50 years. At 69, I still enjoy it.

@@stephenphillip5656I don't buy the "knocking on doors"-argument. It's definitely about money. The places they're at. Huge potholes, but the latest speed cameras. Speed limits decided by a bunch of politicians. Etc. In my country they even announce they expect x amount of fines for the year.

I have an 06 R1 replaced the starter relay and starter plugs and it still wont turn on cranks but no start

Check the usual stuff first. Correct amperage from battery, spark, fuel, compression. Then it's on to other things. This model r1 is very sensitive to batteries that are slightly low or bad conections

@@mr_mon-eyeI’m in the same exact situation with my 2003 r1. My cluster turns on, I hear my fuel pump turn on, it cranks but it won’t start. It also has a new starter in it as well as a new battery.

@Zannettino then need to check your getting fuel and spark next. Charge the battery too as new battery doesn't mean it's got full charge too. After that then it's compression and timing

@@andrewdoran4572 speed limits are for everyone, and heres a thing. If you break the limit overtaking, technically you can get done for speeding. Im sick of the drivers and bikers who arrogantly and blatantly ignore speed limits. Any that get caught, its their own fault.

Oh yes they can. If they catch you speeding from the front when you pass a camera on the dash then takes a picture of your plate as you pass.

Speed camera vans cannot give bikes a ticket. Theres no number plate at the front. I was in the same situation once and after realised they wouldnt have my reg unless the guy rubs to the front of the car and takes pics

They can issue tickets as they look through the screen and write your reg down and then issue a ticket that way ..... ask me how I know 😡..... although I am arguing it as there is no photographic evidence ...

Some of them have a camera (bubble type) mounted on the side which faces forwards to get an image of the rear of the bike as it passes by.

Seriously? I'd be more concerned about those over 8000 hidden ANPR cams scanning and recording your whereabouts. Police know where you have been for two years. That's more intrusive than speed cams where it's in your hands whether they do something or not.

I’m super interested to see how this turns out! I’ve had my 929 since 2005. I’ve always played with the idea of a turbo on that bike. I’m currently putting some 954 throttle bodies which are about 2mm larger bore which I ported and polished. Added some short velocity stacks. I was able to port the backside of the throttlebody by 5 mm so now I need to port the intake ports on the head to match. Also modified the airbox and got rid of that flapper. But yeah, definitely not as cool as a turbo lol

That's some good effort fella. Be interested to see what that pulls on the dyno with those mods. Don't forget to delete the phev fro. The exhaust too as its really restrictive. You doing the ports with die grinder ? Would love to see pics off all the work. I'm currently on fitting itbs on my volvo and porting it for more top end

I fit mine to a 2021 model as clearly states. You will have to do your own research to find out what will and won't fit the 2023 model as I don't know if they have changed it since the 2021 model update

Something is wrong with this test , because in our city wee have a lot of pcx scuters and no mather what exoust have they all go the same , actuality i bought a 700 euro malossi exaust becouse of this video and it changed just the sound and afther 10 days of testing i have returned the exaust

10 days off testing ? What testing did you do for 10 days ? I didn't test what ever exhaust you used so can't comment on that but doing the mods I did to standard exhaust did improve power as proved by the dyno. Don't forget this is only a 12bhp engine so you won't feel a o.5 bhp rise very much either

The hole doesn't fit over the disc thing....The muffs are too stiff to force it over.... Does anyone have an actual full guide?

The holes in the muff should be one big and one small. Big one slides over the grips and small one goes on the outside with the rubber mount
