BTW there is a thing called "heat tape" or "pipe heating cable" that you just wrap around the faucet like a candycane. Maybe more convenient for people with just one to worry about.

Nice idea. I wish builders would just install an indoor cutoff valve so we didn't need this.

We had an add-on done and that was added for those two outlets. If I knew how the plumbing was run I would almost dig it up and add one but this is an old house and I have no clue where the main line splits and runs to the water softener (If i could find that split I could add a cut off because outside faucets aren't on the softener).

There is a little black rubber stopper on the opposite side. Then there is a little white split plastic retaining washer on the shaft. Gotta open that up with a jeweler's screwdriver and use another to pry it. Slides right off and fan comes off. Sadly this process did not revive the fan.

@levertchaney32353 ай бұрын
Thank you for the video. Will I need 20oz of prodamine to cover 30 gallons of water?
@BubbasWorkshop3 ай бұрын
20 oz would be on the low side if you are travelling at close to the same speed I am....remember if you go fast it's spread out farther (lower dosage) and if you go real slow it's a higher dosage (think of it like spray painting). I mix about 22oz for the 30 gallons which is on the low dosage side and if there are really bad areas I just slow down a bit. Prodiamine is pretty forgiving so you can up the dosage if you want but 22oz for 30 gallons has worked for me in the past.

For the past week, I have been digging out stumps using my 1 ton Chinese mini-excavator. I expose the roots, then use a battery-powered reciprocating saw, with a pruning blade, to cut the roots. After enough of the root structure is exposed and cut, I used my JD 2025, with a block and tackle, to pull up the stump and root ball. The tractor has more power than the mini-ex. But, the mini-ex digs better. When I cut the trees, I cut the stump about 24 inches high to give me some leverage and a good stem to wrap the chain around.
@BubbasWorkshop4 ай бұрын
Yep the previous owner of the land left some low cut stumps....everything i've done I do like what you talked about and leave them high so I have some leverage. It's fun digging them out!

Excellent diagnosis! Thank you for putting this out here. I just wonder how that pin on the backside got out of position to start with? Did that nut holding that bracket in place come loose and allow the bracket to back out (away) from the transmission, which allowed that pin to jump out of position? That's my guess, anyway.

This video shows the original model of the Ready Brute Towbar. The original model was without a doubt the best towbar produced. Now they have redesigned it. My original model Ready Brute towbar wore out after 150,000 miles and the company rebuilt it to the newest model. Fair enough. I made one trip with the new model (June 2024) took it off the motor home and it is now in the scrap iron pile. I purchased a new Blue Ox which is better than the new Ready Brute model but not near as good as the original model. If they still made the original model, I would buy one in a heartbeat. See my video "Ready Brute Towbar Review"
