How to calculate correct mixture of chemicals herbicide weed killer for a tow behind sprayer

In this video I show you how to figure out the proper way to mix dry chemicals for spraying in a tow behind sprayer. The example I use is mixing prodiamine (pre-emergent weed preventer) but the process works for any chemical specifying an amount/sq ft of coverage.

I'm glad it helped...when I finally figured out how to do it I had to make a video because I couldn't find any real direction out there. It seems if you're a "pro" this is stuff you already know but the rest of us are left guessing...

Very informative video, would using blue dye help you see where your spray has covered?

This might be a dumb question but you figured your mix with a dry weight in oz.s, if you use a liquid herbicide would you use still use a weight in oz.s, or fluid oz.s? Thanks, great video btw!

Basically you use whichever measurement the herbicide uses so if it says x amount of liquid ounces per acre then use liquid ounces if it says dry ounces use dry ounces 👍
