Great sound. Any chance you can describe how you record video with the sound? I'd like to record myself playing but can't figure out how to get the module sounds to my phone. Are you just using an amp or is it some connection between the module and the video recording device?

@@rhnielsen68 Hey thanks man! Yea, so I’m using the Alesis Strike 12” amp. I play through that then record video/audio raw on my IPhone, seems to do the trick and is the simplest way for me

Just like 95% of drummers I have seen play electronic kits, you can't help but overplay, as if playing a million beats, countless FAT hits, crashes, etc sounds cool. Actually, discipline on an E kit is much more impressive. That takes musical maturity, rather than a kid's urge to just go off. My 2 cents.

Same kit...some issues, but get more playing time at home now....cymbal chokes, open hat,non -responsive hits my biggest complaints...

hobby..? nah, you have "it" You deserve a real kit, and a good metronome to get the time together and you'd be a beast!! Hobby, or not. Explore fingers on the sticks too. Good hobby. Drums are the answer to most questions.

I have same kit...biggest downfall is the " missed" trigger hits...meaning i hit, and it doesnt register...usually happens on snare when im doing a double bass beat...and cymbal chokes are difficult, as is open hat chokes

Sounds good man. Hey so I got the Alesis nitro Max but was very disappointed in how small the kit was. I boxed it back up and send it back to Sweetwater in exchanged for the strike pro SE. That kit looks and sounds awesome. Also I noticed you've got the same Poweramp as well, the 2000 w. Along with this stuff I also recently acquired the Yamaha FP9 direct drive double pedal and a Gibraltar direct Paul drive hi-hat stand, the most expensive one from the brand they offer at Sweetwater. I was wondering what are you using for pedals?

That’s awesome man, think you’re gonna love that set up. I’m using an older Gibraltar high hat stand, I’ve had it since 2003, and I’m using an older Tama iron cobra double base pedal I’ve had since the mid 2000’s, they’re what I used to use on my acoustic kit and have held up awesome!
