Hey Aaron! Been talking with Coree a bit! I am very interested to see this video! A lot of people are 'thrilled' as you can imagine, some think it is a joke, but it probably depends a lot on whether you can get the signal from the north. Objective reports are that it isn't perfect, but it is the best of what's avail of it's type for challenging areas like yours. They also say it is improving with time, too. So. Back to the SHOW! Oh, I did read in the reviews, that the router that comes with the starlink is just a basic one, and it needs a super duper router. THEN it works very well. (A lot of things are that way.) No, it isn't as good as having actual connectivity, but a lot of places that isn't avail anyway. So it is pretty good, and next best thing.

He does have the right to charge for service. All companies do this. We have the choice not to purchase it. Nothing is free. Hopefully, your Starlink gets to working better.

Aaron i understand mate i went with a wifi server so i had a phone at least like you i live in a hollow had to drive 8klm to get cell service after 2 months of tooing and froing i hired s tech to check for me independently it tyrned out that their modem was broken so they said theyd send me another one but i said not to bother and went to another one they came and set it up and hooray it worked you see here in Australia they decided to cut our landlines which meant i had to have fixed wifi to connect the tower is directly behind my property about 2 k from my house across the creek so it was obvious to me that the first one was not working but sheesh drove me mad specially when i was here alone as a aged person i need a phone for emergencies at least this was before starlink came but have heard varying things about it So get their modem checked it may be not functioning properly just a thought but i understand where you are coming from and not being able to talk to a person is frustrating i know as a lot of companies are like this now sadly it seems personal service is a dirty word Good luck xxx

I live on the other end of the Blue Ridge in VA and Starlink works great for us and has been a life send. Elon has sent so much equipment to NC to help with disaster relief so that localities can communicate. Starlink rocks

We are in the middle of nowhere and starlink has been awesome for us

Lived in a very rural area in eastern Washington no cell service. Once I bought starlink it was an amazing product WiFi calling was a literal life saver. Living in Alaska now so many have internet and cell service now. I commend the company for helping people in need in a disaster area

I have no love affair of Elon or either party, but it was huge for saving lives through this. It’s also a great service for travelers. This was a disappointing video

If not for Elon's free Starlink to states in need, many more stranded people would have died. He should be applauded. The service you are currently discussing is optional; he has the right to charge for it, just like any other service provider.

We were able to message people so much sooner thanks to early safe places getting starlink. My husband set it up for a local general store so we could order ours. We got starlink as soon as we could. Game changing. I have no political affiliation to saying this, because we were in the disaster area. We just got power back three days ago, running water a day ago. (No heat or hot water, but one step at a time.). My old internet provider is *still* out. I work from home on the phone, so it’s allowing me to return to work. We won’t have to pay until the beginning of the year, and that allows us to take care of other needs. Blessings to you and yours.

I know the frustration! I know nothing about starlink other than what you’ve told us, but I have the same frustration with all tech companies. I have a new modem that I’ve had for a year that’s still in the box, because I dread dealing with it that much. I thought you did great with the bad language lol🤗❤️🐝
