I am 81. I was raised in my mother’s beauty shop and as I got older I did her hair. Then I began to do my own because I was always unhappy with others. I still do my own haircuts just like you showed. I have an adjustable wall mirror so I can cut the back. I wear my hair very short in a neckline and gets lots of compliments and questions about where i get my hair done!

What about the shape or size downwards,I.e. Or length wise. The shape towards your cheekbones. How low..... I got new glasses recently and the lady at the optometrist office thought they suited me well. I am now disappointed and think they are too big. I do not get compliments,so think I was right. It was not a good choice. Prescription lenses and frame quite costly! I wish I could add a picture for your expert eye?

Semi permanent uses no developer. It’s like the fabtasy colors that come straight from the tube. A demi permanent color is acidic based and doesn’t lift. It’s all deposit. All Color fades to a warmer tone. Color with a developer doesn’t “wash out.” Just…some facts.

Pro tip: If you take a very very fine microweaves and zig zag sectioning, you won’t see a demarcation line. Tough to do yourself. I charge $75 to add Depth to the face frame. It depends on your budget and DIY spirit.

I use a comb and a hair clipper underneath it for the back , that is soooooo much more convenient than cutting it with scissors.

Why did you not "point cut" into your ends instead of straight across? Just wondering? It turned out well. You are lucky. I watch tons of beauticians and THINK i can cut my own but when push comes to shove, I"m too scared to ruin it and let the experts cut it. You are brave!
