Your videos are very informative. And you don’t buy spawn you just keep reusing the same spawn over?

As I was recently corrected, we want straw not hay there is a difference. It looks like you have straw in your cooler, I think hay has a bunch of other unwanted "crud" attached to the straw

I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. kzbin.infoUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.

The Secret of that is don't keep it outside in the 1st place. Most people keep it hooked up to their boat or their camper and over time the weather will get to it. I recommend just pull it off when you're not using it and put it inside your camper or put it in your boat. That's all and you're left. You're a lot longer and you don't have to worry about rust or the changing wet. You'd be without side that's gonna get to court in the elements. The rain the snow and everything till I say take it off when you finish with it? That's what I do goodbye camp. 01 I kept mine off and i put it in my camper. It looks brand new like the first day I had it because of that..

The Lime is to lower the PH, As mushrooms love neutral PH. But is you want to add 50ml hydrogen peroxide to water, that would kill any mold that may be in the straw.. Alcohol only kills bacteria not mold..Just a heads up Bro.

I'm going to find me a real easy way where I basically get the base of the oyster mushrooms from my supermarket and throw them into my coffee ground-straw-paper mix in a sheltered damp spot im my garden. We shall see what grows.

I did this but I had done it in a water bottle and I cut the top off and put the water bottle lid back upside down in the bottle. I sure hope this works. It's summertime and I'm out camping in my RV and there's so many gnats. Thank you for this video

Side by side experiment: my neighbor tested the method in this video against the old way, which is just pour a little apple cider vinegar in a saucer (or saucers) then add a few drops of Dawn (dish soap) in the vinegar. The next morning a lot of gnats/fruit flies (?) were in the saucers - not a one was in the “trap”. So if the above method doesn’t work, try the saucers.

I made this. But 48 inches long! I wanted big powerful light. I end up with a light that will crack easily if bonce around on the boat. Make it 20 inches or less, have something to protect the clear tube. Fair warning =]
