Honestly it's ok, it's better than buying some Tamiya car for the same or more into it, and it's good just the way it is, maybe get the center diff and that's it, it a skill level 1 car and it's not really built to handle 3s even if you can put it in, I have the mini revo and it's faster and a much better handling vehicle, same size, so see no reason to get this.

How's the nano holding up with the outrunner motor? Just worried about the small size of the nano. I always run castle esc with a holmes revolver in my large rigs. Planning on grabbing the nano, bec and a holmes revolver 280 2800kv get l for my trx4m.

Mini maxx is awesome on 2s.. 3s it's a bit uncontrollable.. and really not built for it out of the box.. I think if you were just ripping around in some dirt.. might be ok.. but if you're sending it.. definitely not gonna take it.. lol.. but I think at $249.99 it's not bad.. basically because you get all the traxxas support etc.. parts at every hobby shop.. great video man!

I’m a big fan of castle and their customer service hobbywing makes great products as well but I’ve had bad experiences with their customer service unlike the awesome interactions I’ve had with castle. Hobbywing does have a 12s esc which I’ve seen folks run but I love my xlx2 and haven’t had any issues. It’s one of things where you do the research and choose which works best for you. Xlx2 or the max 5 combo. The max 5 is a little cheaper though. Like I said I live my castle tho!

@@KevnRCJust like to see what it can do, like at a skatepark, it's alright, kinda what I figured it would be, RC Roads does a video of the arrma Typhon Grom blx at a skatepark and it is seriously pretty amazing how well it handles it and how fast it is, for less money, but seriously check it out, I think it will sell a bunch of them.

Hey bro, I’m new into this hobby I was looking to start with this Rlaarlo the carbon version but idk if I should get this one or wltoys 124017 v2 that is similar in that range of price kinda. Do you have any advice about it? Another one I should look to?

I have my doubts about this one, even though I love it and see all the reviews about the drive train that say it breaks, I don't know if it was something with the first units, but it worries me. In the case of the Wltoys, I see that there aren't many problems apparently, but my main objective is pavement, grass, gravel, etc. nothing too crazy with lots of rocks and such, that's why I also don't know if a buggy or a truck like this, as I see them, they are quite similar in how they handle.

Yes it is! In my opinion it’s a better rig! The spektrum 2 year tops traxxas warranty and the price is along better compared to the max slash. I enjoy my Mojave and think you would too!!

We can go anywhere to see the same tricks.... but this should be about the tech drops and downhill....

I just got one of these in last night, so far I’ve storage charged a 3s lipo battery and I’ve fully charged a 2s lipo which smelled like acetone when I opened the charging Bag, so far so good 😂

Hi bro exactly video I've just bought myself the arrma tyhon Grom. But having issues with pinion and meshing did you use the stock motor mount for the 18t pinion if you have i got a 18t pinion 48dp here i tried installing it and its a but tight for some reason not sure what im doing wrong. What dp is it on stock pinion any idea. My setup will be 2600kv brushless motor 3.175mm and 30a esc I think that be ok yh let me know thanks also check out my KZbin channel thanks 😊😊😅😅
