I subbed because you are so one of us. I love everybody who loves RC. I have come to a point in my life where I stopped and thought about it and realized that everybody who loves RC are my people. Like a tribe we all share this love for the same thing which makes us a type of family. you are gonna do well because your genuine love for the hobby comes right through the video.

Bro, I was nervous watching your ECU cutout with cars on the road! I'm glad nothing happened tho! Thing looks like a hoot on brushless. I still haven't picked up these Grom's yet but I definitely plan on it sometime in the future. You put on road tires on them but how do you like them when you take them off road? Not surprised that the plastic diff gears gave out at those kv! lol Thanks for the drop!

Thanks for the question. I was wondering what a nano is, but now it makes sense, that it's the ESC and sits between motor and receiver.

cool! new subscriber here, been thinking about this for my first arrma. or the gorgon.
@KevnRC8 ай бұрын
Welcome aboard! I have both and love them both. The Gorgon is probably a better buy as it’s a proper 1/10 but I love them both and they both have their places.
I have been trying to go brushless and have had a really hard time find a .5 mod pinion and the motor i have is 3.175 bore so i can't use the one in the kit. I have given up on the pinion and just bought a brushless motor with the smaller bore, so hopefully it will work.
@KevnRC7 ай бұрын
Hot racing makes pinions that will work with a 0.5mod and 3.175 mm

Great man! How has the diffs been holding up?
@KevnRC5 ай бұрын
Oh man! They’re okay if you know what you’re doing! Stock I can’t see them being that easy to break but ince you get brushless power it’s about throttle control. The diff on this recently blew in a video but that was on me and my driving!
@robertgoldsmith59494 ай бұрын
Very cool because every single one of these videos I see has varying degrees of complicated maneuvers and and some stuff I really don't want to do. You made one and then you backed up and did something a little different and you were talking fast. Somewhere, could you direct me/us to a summary of what parts, maybe links, went into your build here? editing to add there isn't upgrade for the differentials, pretty sure. V2. Not hard to find. I have them ordered.

@@KevnRC Hi Kevin, it's me again. Can you please help me with the castle nano esc voltage? Specs say that it is 12.6V. So, do I have to use a 3S battery to power it correctly or can I also use a 2S with 7.4V?
@KevnRC9 ай бұрын
@mattes81 you can use a 2s but with this rc in particular I wouldn’t recommend it! You can always give it a try I just had issues with it cutting out. Max input voltage you can use for the nano is 3s!
