He works like Americans used to work fifty years ago and back. Now Americans sit around all day being fat and lazy. Most can’t survive without a CPAP machine to keep them breathing while they sleep nor do they know what gender they are.

Nice to hear the Hebrew. It is a pain to import a car into Israel - was it bought in country ? Taking the rust off with a wire wheel is a very slow process but effective. Abba saved the car as it was going to start to really rust out. B'shalom ...

I'm 71 and the first car I owned was a 1948 Chevrolet. It seemed like a very old car back then and that was more than 50 years ago! When I look at these pictures the thing that surprises me most is, this was GM's lowest price car at the time yet it seems much better built, with nicer appointments and luxury touches than today's low priced cars that are made out of gray plastic. Your father seems to have enjoyed putting this beautiful car back in commission, I hope your whole family enjoys some nice rides and family outings with it.

Thank you so much for filming and sharing such a beautiful project for Dad and family. You have all blessed us with a lovely historical review and to show human perseverance and restoration artform. We enjoyed the piano music while fitting the upholstery as well. The detail paint in red and the simulated wood grain was wonderful. Thank You so much. Dennis in Virginia, US

@@DennisMurphey Thank you! My sister was playing the piano, she was excited someone noticed her as she wasn't in the video really haha :) The restoration process is so long and sometimes I didn't understand how he can continue to work on it while it seems like it's never gonna end, and after a while bam! the car's done! So the perseverance is all my dad's :)

@1800 Danville IL 😆 wow. That plant has been closed since the 90's. Amazing ! Its the next town over me. Most of the building is torn down and a Concrete company (Sport Redi Mix ) has a dry batch plant on the old property. The electrician that is at my job currently is about to retire earned his first retirement from GM in Danville😀
