These are really nice reels. Super smooth and they feel and act the same as my 303d cold water but half the size and better looking, I like the classic look myself, without the weak points of the other guys. Definitely recommend it.

You should fell a little tug in your rod and then you want to set your hook if you don't know how just look up how to set your hook

If you’re looking for a heavy buoy ten 20+ plus ounce rod this is the ultimate fish killer! Second season on mine and when I need it it’s fish in the bag every time! Great action with a skateboard flasher!

It's light because the side plates are plastic. What the heck is c40 x, LOL, These people kill me spitting these fancy terms that mean nothing. Not paying $279 for plastic side plates.

Been fishing this reel on the salt for about six months. So smooth and casts a mile. Only give it a quick rinse afterwards.

Hi John, I think the smaller 50 size would be good here in Hawaii for "floating" lines out for GT Ulua. Maybe in the future a custom 25 for shore casting for us? I can be the guinea pig.

The reel looks amazing! My only question is how well is the reel sealed off from sand? Most LBS anglers I see on KZbin are fishing from extremely sandy beaches... those beaches are tough on conventional reels. And 100 pounds of drag is just incredible 😳
