I saw a snippet on instagram and had to immediately listen to the full version. It’s the first time I’d ever heard Jelly Roll sing. It’s a beautiful song. Very bittersweet. I cry every time I hear it. I can’t help but think of my mom and granny. Both suffered from late stage dementia and at the end were so happy to finally go home. Granny knew she was going to pass soon. The day before she told everyone that her husband and babies were waiting for her and she pointed to the edge of her bed. Even though they’re not with me physically any longer, they are finally home.

I got pregnant 3 years later , when he was 40 our son was born. He’s now 4. When he was first born my husband accidentally called him his son whose passed name . We all just cried . Jesus is so powerful and we have a loving God who heals . Wonderful song ❤and I know it’s helped many
