In November of last year as my brother lay in a hospital bed intubated and in a medically induced coma I sat and cried listening to this song hoping that these very thoughts were going through his mind as he lay there. Addiction was what got him there. While I was angry with his choices I also knew that addiction is a real disease. A disease my brother lost his life to. This song helped me remember a baby brother who I hunted and fished with. Who would give you the shirt off his back and who I dearly loved. The song still moves me to tears. Thanks guys for doing this duet. Beautiful song.

I feel the same way you do about this song it is always touched me in a way that felt like it was being sang to me, for me. The song What I Love about Sundays. Girls on a farm and I know exactly what he means about those Sunday dinners and the football game in the back yard. Even down to the lady singing off key in the in the church pew behind him. He is such an awesome songwriter and singer. Who's also seen tough times. He is definitely a credit to the human race and country music.

Craig unknowingly saved my life march 17th at 11:37 2010. I was in a rough place in life and was going to commit suicide. I told God “I’ll give you three songs before I shoot myself. If you prove to me that you’re real, I’ll serve you and die when you see fit”. Beer for my Horses and I’m Gonna Miss Her played and I decided to end it before the second chorus of I’m Gonna Miss Her when I heard a voice say “STOP! Who ever you are STOP”! I thought it was my Dad and realized that it was the radio show host. He said “I don’t know who you are or what you’re doing but, someone is about to hurt himself and I feel compiled to play this song for you”. He proceeded to play God Myst Really Love Me. I threw my gun across the room and felt compelled to open my Bible and put a finger on a page and landed on 1 Corinthians 3:16-23 16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?* 17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 18 Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,‘He catches the wise in their craftiness’, 20 and again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise that they are futile.’ 21 So let no one boast about human leaders. For all things are yours, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future-all belong to you, 23and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God. I heard a voice say “I’ve got great plans for you and I’m not going to lose you like this”. I not only became a Christian but, a country music fan as well. Craig remains my favorite artist. I was stuck on a 24 hour shift when Craig came to Fort Bliss for a concert. I was able to get off just in time to catch the end of this song and the who crowd was singing this. I’ve traveled around the world, with the Army. I’ve caught Saltwater Crocodiles with the Irwins, befriended soldiers from different countries and cultures, I caught snakes on movie sets and hang out with movie stars, I just got a job as a park ranger in Florida and I love sharing the word with children’s church on Sundays. Thank you Craig Morgan for everything that you’ve done for me and for everyone else. God Bless.

Just think of the movie "It's a wonderful life." Just how many people wouldn't you have gotten to know, nor touched their lives had you went through with it. There's only 2 things we take with us into the next life. Our experiences & our families. So glad our Father answered you in your time of need. May he continue to bless you brother. 😊

My son was homeless 2,500 miles away from home & I finally found him & got the same message, “ he is laying out here beside our dumpster & if someone doesn’t come soon he won’t make it long “ i jumped on a plane and flew to California from Indiana. I m thankful every day for that call . 10 years later he is home and doing better. I cry every time I hear this song . God bless you ❤

I am a Christian When I say that "I am a Christian," I am not shouting that "I am clean living." I'm whispering "I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven." When I say "1 am a Christian," I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide. When 1 say "I am a Christian, "I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on. When I say "I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess. When I say "I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it. When I say "1 am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name. When I say "I am a Christian," I'm not holier than thou. I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!😇

I wear your shoes. I raised 2 boys alone & my elderly mom. I was single luckily a paralegal. Then 11 years ago my neice died leaving me her 18 mth, 4 & 7 yrs old. Got them grown.3 years later the sweetest sister diagnosed with rare rare brain cancer leaving 32 yr old none verbal severely autistic son. My heart breaks. 4 mths later dad dies. After my sister my secual abuse from 2-14 by dad & other family members also happened. Idk how i survived. At that point all the deaths triggered ptsd & grew to not bing able to leave my house. Only prayers kept me alive. Then found out i had a grandson. That child became my light. He & my son continued to live with me 4 years. I still had mom & my oldest moved. Last 4 years was just me & mom & last 2 were 24/7 care on top of fighting childhood abuse, all the deaths i was barely hanging on knowing what was coming. Sadly she recently passed. Cared for mom 18 years. I had a nervous break, ended up in hospital. Lost absolutely everything even my car. I was homeless no family wanted me. Finally a friend came got me after i got over covid. My 2 boys lost that confident go getter, glue of the fam, gave shirt of my back but bcz i lost everything. Suddenly i was not 'that mom' - influenced by other people. Ive had broken hip over year & half. Surgery was postponed. Then by the grace of God. Idk any other reason someone had the tiniest camper ever & said i could stay. I fell & further broke hip & may lose my leg. I have lupus also. Im fading. My son marries soon. Someone found me walker. I need to be in hospital but ive got to make that wedding though i was left out of all of it bcz i no longer have money. Now they bring groceries. Though rides to dr ?? Im losing my baby & grandson to sweet girl but its hard to yet again lose someone. I sacrificed everything for all until last part mom's life. And, my emotional support dog hasnt been given back. Its lonley i know. I guess they cant understand people almost everyone is a pay check or life crisis from being homeless. Go to catholic charities in your area or find a non denomational church its hard but ask for help. Dont give up! We arent perfect but our kids love us but they dont know how to handle it bcz social paints fake perfect lives for the most part. Volunteer to help at shelters even animal ones. There you'll find good people. God will open doors or guide us but we have to ask. Sorry for the long story but i just wanted you to know you are worthy and not alone. I will be praying for you. He will send an angel your way. Just stay away from drugs & all the things that numb reality and life will change. Hopefully i see a message things got better and you unite with your daughter. Keep fighting! Stay strong. You are NOT less you are worthy & still here for a reason too. God bless you ! Never forget He loves you even past all sins. FIGHT!!! DONT GIVE UP!!! YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!❤

😭💔 This song has me bawling. I became a Widow on October 3,2014. My husband was my everything. He was 60 years old and I was 46 years old. He battled Silicosis(black lung disease), he had been on Hospice care at home for 2 years. A few days before he passed away he asked me to take him out on our porch, upon taking him out there he asked me if I could hear the doves? 🕊 We live on the farm that he was raised on and we raised our children on. He began to sing "On the Wings of a Snow White Dove" to me and I knew then that his time was near. Being a nurse I thought I was prepared, of course I wasn't. Over the following 3 days he was in and out of it, but one of the last things he said to me was "I wish I could box you all up and take you with me" 😢 He made me promise to uplift our children as the succeed in life and love on our grandchildren as they grow up, and always tell them that their Bumpa loved them. I just recently lost my Dad February 17th after a brief and unexpected illness. He was 82 years old and was in the process of building a new house for him and my Mom. They were high school sweethearts married 63 years. He had 3/4 of the house finished, and my Mom sold it to a contractor, because she said she couldn't live there without him. My parents had 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. My Dad always said that he was rich because God Blessed him with a beautiful family. I have lost the two most amazing men in my life and this song grabbed my heart so much. Sorry for the long comment, I guess grieving never really ends, it just changes day by day. The Holidays are the hardest 😪

Omg this made me cry 😭 first off im terribly sorry for your loss! Secondly i had a step grandpa who i called Bumpa❤ I lost him to an unexpected cardiac condition.. but right before that happened.. the lord made me pick up my phone and talk to him, i feel like a way to say “I’ll be fine and i love you” he really was like a father figure to me 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@raeqwanjordan8313 God Bless you 🙏 ❤️ I have only heard Bumpa used 2 other times, 1st was the Judge who presided over probate court when my husband passed away. The judge's children called his father Bumpa, and someone that I was speaking to at an event for my grandson, they called their grandfather Bumpa. How my husband was named Bumpa was our granddaughter couldn't say grandpa, it came out Bumpa. So I love to hear that others have used it. Thank you for replying, it's so hard during this time of year. May God Bless You today and everyday 🙏 💕

2:54 I am with you.i have had GAD( Generalized Anxiety Disorder),Anic Disorder,PTSD & from age 16,now on Oct 16 2024 57 & still have it all,bad acid reflux almost every day & can barely breathe without hurting,or move at all til the hurting is gone.I still trying to do everything I can.Thank GOD my yogurt, pudding, Ritz crackers & my Ensure & Glucerna shakes help, also Rice Cakes. I am also & have been a few years now,in a wheelchair, from an infection When homeless I lost my right leg below knee & smallest toe on left. For a year I had a artificial leg I had on but from mid February 2024 cause the surgeon screwed up on the surgery,I am not able to get the leg on cause of the bone, has a calcium Build up but also the guy who did my artificial leg, left a lumpy place inside that hurt my leg when I walked too. So I get put down, thrown around & told by others,I am & will always be a nobody but as much as it gets me,just like Jelly Roll does with his songs,I tell my life story starting with getting abused from 7-52 by my blood related family,52-54 was in a nursing Facility for my leg & was abused by the staff all bout about 4 people. & I tell this story to let others know, keep on moving forward, never give up & always try for whatever your interest, passion might be. Those that put people down are insecure, want control, power & putting others down make themselves ( in a strange way) feel better about themselves. So go for it,me er give up & you can do it!!!! Same thing Jelly Roll said in his song,I'm not ok but it's all gonna be alright❤❤❤❤

For Any body that what’s to love someone and tell them how you feel, but you just can’t get the words to come out your mouth…. Then you find out it’s too late and you will never get the Chance to tell them how much you loved them. This is a lesson I’m just now learning at 44 years old. Tell them before it’s to late, you only get one shot at this life to make thing right. You don’t want to live with the regret of never telling them how you really felt.

Okay, this just went to the top of my top 10 all time favs. Hell yeah, love this version!! Craig is beyond talented and humble too. You don't see that kind of humbleness with the younger generation of artists, simple as that. I had the rare opportunity to spend a few minutes with Jelly Roll a couple years ago on his way to Savannah GA to do a show. I was blown away at how humble and gracious he is as well. Both great artists for sure. A+

I saw a snippet on instagram and had to immediately listen to the full version. It’s the first time I’d ever heard Jelly Roll sing. It’s a beautiful song. Very bittersweet. I cry every time I hear it. I can’t help but think of my mom and granny. Both suffered from late stage dementia and at the end were so happy to finally go home. Granny knew she was going to pass soon. The day before she told everyone that her husband and babies were waiting for her and she pointed to the edge of her bed. Even though they’re not with me physically any longer, they are finally home.

My older brother was a alcoholic and he was homeless for the past couple years and ended up going to jail when he had a fight with another homeless man and hurt him. Then my brother sat in jail for about three years and he got out October 10 of this year. he called me and asked me to pick him up from jail. It was late at night when they released him. He had not been in the best health. I did not go pick him up and that same night he died, laying in the woods alone. I will never forgive myself for not going to get him. But every time I hear this song, I cry like a baby.
