I grew up loving the original, but the second I heard your version for the first time, I fell in love with it. Still enjoy the original, but your version holds so much more raw, powerful emotion, that it's by far my favorite rendition of this song. It reaches to the heart and holds on. You truly FEEL when you hear it, and in such a memorable, authentic way. ❤❤❤

2008? Jesus. I think I was just a teenager that barely found Aesthetic Perfection because of a 9gag meme introducing me to "aggrotech". I listened to the genre ironically but it quickly grew on me.

Despite whatever setbacks, etc. you’re facing, you pull through like a champ, continually creating & releasing incredible new music into the world, annihilating those stages & always sharing with honest transparency that’s nothing short of uplifting & inspiring! 🖤✊🏽🙏🏽 For the first time ever, I finally got to attend a ‘live show’ of yours on tour, Oct. 15, 2022 when you blazed through T.O. 🇨🇦 with support, Josie Pace & GenCab at The Garrison! For me, t’was the highlight of my yr & a ‘one for the books’ show! Unfortunately, you & I didn’t connect that night, but meeting the others was insane! Post-show, I tried keeping up with the tour posts & saw that it wasn’t going as well as you’d all hoped, for various reasons. I wasn’t aware of what happened after the tour, as you mentioned here…truly sorry to hear that. Big ups 🙌🏽 for what you did pre-tour, running the voting contest on KZbin, giving your time & all those amazing artists a chance for a much needed platform to perform in every city stop on your tour! Supa grateful to you for that! It’s why after all these yrs, I finally got to see you! 🤘🏽 Just before 2020, an unexpected opportunity arose to help out a friend’s son who needed votes to win an award for his music video. I helped, he won & during this time I was invited to do something I rarely did & that was hit up local venues….I saw first hand the need for support of up & coming artists & from this experience, decided to embark on a personal journey supporting local independent artists/bands…then the pandemic hit & it was needed even more. The circumstances also gave me the time needed to find these artists….5/6 yrs later, the sheer # of epic unknown artists I discovered from my own limited search is mind blowing…I’m sure it’s the same in every city worldwide! As someone who can’t live without music in my life, this has been a trip…a healing one fo sho & if I’ve helped bring awareness to even 1 band/artist, a contented one! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing some legendary bands I 🫶🏽 who are celebrating 30/40/50 yrs in the 🎶 biz, all because these bands/artists I support have opened for them! It’s a beautiful thang & I couldn’t be more proud of them… 🚀 Btw, the artist I was there supporting the night of your show, is Sam Astaroth who won your contest! Been following his journey as a solo artist from day one & what he has accomplished since, is nothing short of extraordinary! I love many different styles of music….I switch up, listening to what moves me at any given time….when a song is good, it’s good! Mostly what I’m listening to lately, is of course the music of the artists I’m trying to support…my taste in 🎶 is vast & impossible to focus my attention on all 😅….. …but what’s important that I wanted to share, is that being there for Sam, was also a full circle moment that brought me back to your music! Heard some fave tunes of yours I’d missed so much…another reason that show was really special! I also had tix to come see you again at your show here in T.O. touring with Till last yr! Was stoked to see you all again after a 2 yr wait, but just couldn’t get there in time. Hope there’ll be another chance! Never ever doubt the impact & reach of your music Daniel! You are the best!
