What a terrific remix Daniel (which I will get), but I've always viewed artists who remix their own music is like someone who has an itch, they can't scratch, but that artist hears every possibility from their discography. The music is within their minds ― So, remixes are like mental scratching that itch, which can be so satisfying to complete...... !!!! Perfectionists are especially guilty.

I must admit, I dislike 99% of the remixes I get from other artists. Not that I think they're bad, just that they don't usually capture the essence of what it is I'm hoping for. I'm sure that's true of a lot of artists, but it's the reason why I've done so many remixes of my own tracks, because I feel like I'm the one person who can achieve what it is I'm looking for.

@@ClosetoHumanMusic I understand it completely, because after I've made a new Architecture design that gets built ― I see some fucking shitty "interior designer" with paint chips in hand and some God-awful looking wallpaper samples. Great design doesn't need that bullshit, when all the owners needed to do was ask myself. I'm a huge perfectionist, who also knows that it's a learned behavior, but I'm trying to stop it. Again, it's a great song..... !!!!

So, back in the early 2010s I moved in with my dad in Arizona after my independent situation in Texas fell apart. In the course of meeting new friends and becoming one with the community I became acquainted with an excellent goth gal I never did but should have pursued in dating(She introduced me to the movie 'Four Rooms' the first week we met). So I found myself passing puffs in the Tempe Boneyard one night at 23 and she introduced me to 'A Nice Place to Visit' (I understand the connection in her mind now). At the time I was a Lacuna Coil addict and loved it but didn't pick up what she was putting down. I did pick up the band name though. Getting to tell you directly this story, I wish I still had Sabrina's number so I could tell her, she would be ecstatic to know. You're a true gem, a badass, and a real Summer Goth.
