I didn't even notice that the scream wasn't present in the TMP era. In my mind, it was always there. I guess it started with TNG. It's a great effect for that type of weapon.

Well the first photon torpedo scream we ever hear was actually fired by the Klingons at V'ger. After that, we hear it again when Enterprise hits the asteroid in the wormhole during the warp malfunction. The specific scream I sampled for this is from Star Trek 3 when Kirk hits the decloaking bird of prey in orbit around Genesis.

What I love about this short is that they not only perfectly convey what his “power” does to him, but also how he’s not a bad guy. He’s just a lonely soul dreaming of the day he’ll be noticed. And if you’ve seen the video done by TheVulgan on this SCP you might realise just how tragic Joe telling the doctor to say he loves his family truly is.

@@DarkestElement thank you for giving it a look see. His performance though is more on me than him. I tend to go for as close to, not acting, with my actors as I can. I want them to feel like just somebody you might meet in the streets. Think the movie communion (performance,) rather than a brave heart type performance. This is why I intentionally will leave "not" perfect Grammer in place, or perhaps the occasion word flub. Sometimes though, I miss the mark. @@TheMightyCookieShow Everything about this was brilliant. From the opening scene panning down to the solider slumped in his chair and dark mysterious vibe of SCP agent reminiscent of the puppet master's men in black, to the dialogue and story writing, to the angles scenes were shot at, the way the fog adds to the 'evil dead-like' ambiance, to the solders looking battle hardened in the faces.... Man I can't even watch it entirely. I stopped at 13min The sound effects are catastrophics as well as the visual's. More realistics sound effects without the useless ones and a better work on animations. I would have liked it but there are too much parasites sounds that take me out of immersion. The music is average I would say, not bad enough to notice but not good enough to make an amazing immersion Now the good things Actors are great, which got me surprised. Using Epsilon-6 "Village Idiots" is accurate which make me respectful. (Cause there's so much movies on SCP but so much garbage with completely non accurate events.) Overall I would say that there's a lot of potential that can still be used ^^

This is great! Well done! My only complaint is the artificial shaky-cam in the helicopter, which was actually physically painful to watch. Jerky movements like that would only be happening in a helicopter as a result of shockwaves from flak or other explosions, helicopters typically are pretty smooth flyers.
