The word catholic appears in the Bible in Acts 9:31, where it refers to "the church throughout [all] Judea, Galilee, and Samaria". The word catholic comes from the Greek word katholikos, which is a combination of the words holos, meaning "whole", and kata, meaning "throughout.

But the kingdom didn't come to what peter preached ..Jesus taught the same thing to his apostle.... They've been dead 2000 year ago. Wouldn't that make sense if it happened in their lifetime ?? The prediction peter and Jesus said would make sense if he was coming in their time not some distant future because the people who they spoke to wouldn't think a future exist
