Recently i got the purple bodied truggy Safe to assume the bearings you recommended also just swap in? 😅 Asking because they're so many models now and idk what is what. Others told to upgrade xyz to 4.0 and im here like....i beat on this thing and eveything is fine, especially because of the cost of the upgrades

Yes the bearing kit I recommend is for this model of buggy and truggy

You took all that care , to make sure it was good , took apart , oiled up , cleaned Now you should try to not start it so hard , soon as you start , try not to pull so much trigger so quick

I’ve had a volcano s30 since like 2012, original sh 18 still runs great never had a problem with it, even after a few gallon of fuel still going good! I have most of the aluminum upgrades they make for the volcano so mine is quite a bit more modded up.

Ich habe einen Nova B3R und B5R. Es gibt Probleme mit der DLC Beschichtung. Diese ist schlecht ausgeführt. Ein Motor hat einen DLC beschichteten Kolbenbolzen, einer nicht… die Klemmung am Anfang ist die Hölle. In einem Karton fehlte der Vergaser O-Ring… Diese Firma hat nichts mehr mit der guten alten Novarossi zu tun. Den B5R habe ich verkauft und werde kein Produkt mehr bei Nova Engines kaufen. Bei den Preisen nehme ich lieber einen OS Speed. Da weiß ich dass die Qualität stimmt.

How do you tune a twin engine do ya do one engine at a time???

I put a base tune on them one at a time (one engine running) than fine tune with both running

will the TLR diff fit the housing of the rtr?>

Yes but for the front diff you need the ring gear from a tlr 4.0 or downwards

Yes the problem is the 4.0 diff assembly’s are discontinued if you want to run tlr diffs you’ll have to run the ones out of the x series. The rear and center fit no problem for the front all you have to do is swap the ring and pinion from the x to the 4.0 otherwise the x ring and pinion will hit the diff housing and not mesh. Or if you can find all 3 diff assembly’s from a 4.0 they are a direct fit

Not usually, once in a while I’ll clean it out and add a drop of atf (automatic transmission fluid)

it might be common but that is freaking stupid they put together Engines being that dirty. are they comming directly of the Cnc, so bad quality control !

lol for my fluids, I buy quart bottles of Maxima shock and gear oils from my local Motorsport dealer for my RCs. Maybe only costs a buck more, arguably the same thing if not better, and I don’t have to wait a week for it to come in or make a 45 minute drive to the hobby shop. I’ve literally never had a problem that would have been “due to not using RC SPECIFIC fluids.” The only exception to this is that in my diffs that I want to tighten up without nearly locking up, I will use the Losi 1-2mil diff fluid. However if I want to nearly lock up the diff without installing a spool, I will use either Lucas Red & Tacky or Maxima high performance high tack grease…

They have the .24 version for the truggy's that I'd like to try in my D8T..been running a novarossi 28/7 in it since day one and it's been great with TONS of power...I actually think the .24 will make even more though and I can drop a little weight....at the price these engines are going for, They're worth every penny in my opinion.... actually,when you look up spare parts for the new Nova, they still use the Novarossi part # heading with part numbers starting with "NVR" - (novarossi) ...what's really insane,Is how much the costs of new old stock Novarossi engines are going for - nearly triple of what the were new... I paid 189.00us for my 28-7 in 2015 - now almost 600us NIP...same with my Rex 28/8..Almost sure I paid 179 in 2017 and last one I saw on eBay a couple months back SOLD for 500.. .The higher end engines like the MITO,keep-off and Roma 25 are going for 800+
