My dog has not passed away. But a relative of mine who lives with me just decided to move out knowing that I can't afford the house rent and looked up for a place that doesn't accept pets without telling me. So I had to give away my dog to other people who I'm not gonna lie, they loved dogs indeed. Being honest, it hurts a lot, it was not my decision, it was forced upon me to make that decision.

Thank you for this lovely song. My beloved soul dog passed this fall. She was 16 year and 2 months. She survived lymphoma but then dementia came for her and I asked my vet to set her free. Held her nose to nose till I felt her take her last breath. When she passed, part of my heart died with her. I know we will be together again someday.

Just lost my sweet boy a week ago. It’s been tough. He gave us an amazing 10 years and I miss him every second. Keys reminds me of him. Similar look but mine had some brown and was maybe 10-20lbs bigger. This song just brought tons of tears but also good memories.

Me and my mrs rescued 2 german shepherd pups nearly 1 and 2 couple months back the older 1 harry, he had issues withmy mrs (think it stems from issues with the previous female owner). I tried so hard with them, last m9nth we was going to get him castrated and behaviour training i had it planned to borrow the money to start it early (5 days after my second son was born) work screwed me on wages so wasnt feasable to borrow... 4 days ago harry bit my partner 3 days ago i had to take our 2 year old pup to be put down (uk hospitals inform dog wardens and no rescues would except him).. Ever since all i can hear is those final struggles for breath he took 😭😭 songs like this give comfort he was lovely with out kids me and my mrs but occasionally had a snap only at the mrs. Im glad for songs like this but it feels like ive just lost my 19month old son and 2 11yr old dog. Its destroying me im not new to loss human or pets but this, i cant see this 1 ever healing but im glad songs like this take the edge off

My buddy Otis passed away December 5th. 2024 Im having such a hard time with it.

I know what it's like we had to put our dog down last night he was seizing and we took him to the pet er and they said he might have a brain tumor and it was for the best.

My american akita, just died in my arms at the vets a few nights ago, I miss him so much, he was with me from 4 months old until he would have been 11 this coming feb, He was my world, My wee man, my everything. I feel so lost without him. Its soul destroying and heart breaking losing those we love so much, he wasnt just a pet, he was my son, my baby boy, part of my only family and my confidant. Without him its going to be so hard.
