To all the console kids discussing very limited console graphics here: Play Forza on a 4090 with RT and an OLED screen with more than 1000 Nits HDR peak brightness, and there is no comparison to be made. Forza gains a huge quality boost with a good setup because of its very good optimizations for PC and great HDR implementation, which solve the graphical issues you complain about.

FM is for daydreamers. GT is for real competitive racing.

GT laser scans everything so that it looks identical to the real world counterpart, and they record the sound for every vehicle to match perfectly. FM does not do this

Not tried the 918 in Forza but the one in GT is utter crap. Seems to be a poor effort tbh. If it is an accurate representation of a 918, Porsche should be embarrassed though I think it's just bad coding.

Gt7 is way more realistic by a long shot. That being said, it’s not always about that, and forza just looks a lot better because the colors just pop, and the sound design is great. Forza also does a great job at just making you feel like you are going faster than you actually are. Forza as a franchise is better in my opinion cause of horizon, but in terms of racing simulator, gt7 takes the cake in terms of actual gameplay quality.

I don't understand haw gt7 gets the sound of some cars absolutely brilliant, Nissan gtr almost sounds like the real thing. Then u get others, like this one. And the 3.5 million mclaren p1 that doesn't sound to far off my gf 1.2 corsa

Both trash as simulators. Neither had any type of actual tyre physics because both are literally on rails with some ”free type” movement. Take either game and do sharp turns lagt and right and break and let the tires slip and spin the car, and you’ll start to see incredibly odd behavior in both and then it will always bother you how bad they actually drive and how little is actually based in real physics of a car. With tyres. They only have some sensation of greedom but both are more like boats in a narrow canal when you push them hard. Assetto Corsa and in iRacing are the opposite. And GT7 dares to promote itself as a ”real driving simulator” since forever

As a Forza guy. I prefer the GT version of the car itself. As an owner of an EK coupe (EJ6). I prefer the front end of the one in GT (the facelifted front end of the EK which is from the 99-2000 model years). The one in Forza is a 96-98

Well, the Evo IX in Forza had an inaccurate car model. It is reported through Forza forums, so GT7 takes the crown of victory for the perfect up-to-date Evo IX model. Evo IX in GT appeared in the PS3 games, but it’s the 2005 GSR there. Now when it returns to GT7, it gets fully remodeled & upgraded to the powerful 2006 MR GSR. It’s such a dope return for a car that it once appears as a regular version, and later returns with a significant upgrade. Forza on the other hand, had the Evo IX since FM3. But unfortunately, the model looks disproportionate, especially the headlights protrude out of the front bumper. When Evo IX returns to FM6, the same outdated inaccurate model is recycled through subsequent Forza titles.

In graphics Forza is way better. More realistic, detailed. GT7 is very nice but fake in colors and those annoying glare. They are great games both in any case.
