The track looks off in FM. The trees don't match the real life ones and the curbs are off. What's odd is that there are certain bumps in there that aren't on the real track anymore. It feels even more outdated than GT7's despite supposedly being newer.

@@TalksWithNoise Bumps on Quiddelbach, foxhole, and pflanzgarten feel off. Also, the curbs in a lot of corners like Sabine Schmitz and Adenauer are off and are too steep. Worst of all is the concrete on the final carousel is way too far from the curb. In real life, you don't have a whole car's width between the curb and the concrete block. As far as trees go, it feels like they did it to limit draw distance, because there are sections where you should be able to see far out into the horizon and the forrest. One particular area is right before Metzgesfeld.

@@oppos727 Forza isn't like real life, and it's also not a self-titled ultra-realistic simulator like other titles. But seeing that there are still people worried about how many times the plan backfires... Honestly... Ugh. And honestly, this feature adds more excitement to the game. Practically all Forzas have this mechanic and will continue to do so because it is a Simcade game. But that doesn't change the fact that it's a good racing game (at least for me).

I just got Forza on gamepass and I dislike everything about it, especially when comparing it to GT7. Visuals, physics, and audio all seem better to me on GT7. in this video, why does the M3 have to have fire come out of the exhaust? it's a straight six non turbo, no anti lag, should not have fire coming out every other downshift.

FM is only good, it has a great sense of speed (like NFS), lots of cars, interesting routes (finally the Nurburgring) but that's all. I always thought FM was technically better with better driving and physics systems, damage system until I saw FM8. This game doesn't have what GT7 has: Soul, finesse, a fantastic challenging career that motivates you to play, beautiful photorealistic graphics, great enemy AI (FM8: what is enemy AI ??? :D ), music (FM8 what?), great heritage for over 20 years; millions of fans. Turn 10 disappointed its fans, FM8 was supposed to destroy GT7 but it spat at its fans, repeating everywhere that it was a completely new game created from scratch. Many videos comparing FM8 to FM4 show a total lack of graphical progress or gameplay, with worse AI and no career motivator, you get everything straight away. I respect FM, and I know GT7 has many flaws, but it has what FM never had, the will to play.

the thing I hate the most on forza is with the exhaust pipes.... Why are they throwing flammes like a flamethrowers .... It supposed to be explosion gaz due to high pressure, so it should be a flash not flammes, and the explosion should be mostly blue, not yellow.... and not all of the time... So on daytime the blue flash should not be visible that much, only in the evening when sunlight is going down, GT7 is doing very well, very realistic when Forza does just shit.

The frequent appearance of bad flames makes me feel that the designers don’t understand cars at all. The flames are not ejected from the exhaust pipe (05:11), which makes people worry about whether they will burn.

I love how forza adds a lot of fake non-existent details on track to make it look more detailed to fool casuals and you can tell by the comments that people fall for it, and they don't need to put much effort into it because they will defend anything as long as ot looks pretty to them even if the game is sold as being realistic, the cars don't even reflect sun glare in Forza, people who think this is more realistic need to go outside more.

In GT7 the cars look super good, but the track looks bad. In FM the cars look very good (just not at GT7 level), and the track looks super good. I prefer Forza since the combination is looks more consistent.

it's amazing forza is as good as it is given that turn 10 is like 50% contractors.. gamepass and the success of the horizon likely led to a much lower budget.. gt7 is more polished even if I prefer forza in terms of gameplay.

Lol. Someone is trying to say FM version is accurate, when some other channels go on about how it isn't, as well as plenty of people here. After watching videos side by side, yes, GT7 is more accurate. The curbs are even closer to the real curbs in GT7. The amount of graffiti in GT7 is closer to current times. FM is still ovwrly covered in graffiti, and using the same exact copy and paste graffiti and other markings on the track from 2017 in FM7...1:1 identical markings. Tree lines change? Lol. Okay, well that means they're being chopped down then. Not growing hundreds or thousands of new trees, filling in a lot of gaps that are there in real life. In my opinion, an accurate tree line or tree placement, is more impressive. Attention to detail is unmatched to GT7. Not only is the placement ofntrees or bushes more accurate, butbthe types of trees too. FM just likes placing a million pine trees all over. The grass is also thicker in GT7. It even moves as cars drive by accordingly. It just looks too flat in FM with bits and pieces of grass spread out. FM caters to the casuals who are easily fooled by "more is better" mentality. More treees that don't exist in real life, and more lights everywhere to ruin night time racing immersion. More circus-like events going on with neon lights everywhere life they're drawing in kids from Forza Horizon. It caters to hildren who like flashy things thrown at their faces instead of authenticity. And then there's paint colors not being 100% correct. Talking about the color itself. Not how it reflects in the sun and bla bla bla. Like my Aegean Blue FK8 on my channel. Different shade of blue than what FM has. The effect it has in the sun glare seems correct, but the rest is off. Only mentioning this part about paint because of nihilityjoey. But hey, what do I know, right? I've only driven this car going on 7 years in June and my Vogue silver Civic going on 21 years in May.....

Wierd... Even on Mishas videos, right off the bat, I'm noticing some areas of the track that had graffiti cleaned up, where on FM still has a shit load all over. And since I can't see my comment I had before this last one, I'll say it again. No, I have no reason to lie. I don't lie about things, especially in arguments. I've been a fan for FM since 2005. I may have played GT and owned every GT since 1997, but once FM1 released in 05, I immediately switched. I've been more hooked on FM and FH since. But the attention to detail is far superior in GT7. Polyphony are more passionate for their games. They're still the same team. Turn 10 has changed and it definitely shows. So many people agree with this. He'll, Kazunori has even raced. People at T10 are just a bunch of overweight nerds making a game for the purpose of making a game, it feels. Not because they have a true passion for cars and racing. GT7's brilliant sporty blue, the color blue itself, that shade of blue, is MUCH MUCH closer to the real life color of my FK8. FM, and even in your videos, is a different shade. It's kind of dark, even in your video. Gives off a slight purplish blue almost. Don't know why you're so hurt over someone who owns the car telling you it is wrong. Or the multiple other cars that other people complain about in the forums or other sites, about the color being off. And when you basically say I'm weird, or I have problems, or I need help, when I discuss this, or call me a liar, you're kind of implying that I do not know the color of my own car...but go ahead. Make some GT7 videos with HDR off like you said you have been. Lol. For most people, turning HDR off for FM made the game look better. Just look it up. FM has issues that need fixed...

Both games look great, FM has more props/objects. What actually made me buy a PS5, was GT7. Little did i know that GT7 was going to back stab it's fans with its rediculous pricing, and pretty much worthless physical copy. Microsoft is pretty much on board into doing the exact same thing, they are trying to go all digital. So screw them both ! I'm never buying another Playstation system ever again.

People need to stop with this "authentic tracks" in GT rubbish. Both games wouldnt be able to release the tracks if they weren't accurate, thats what they pay the licences for. Jesus. The whole "tree line thing?" tree lines change on tracks all the time, tracks have breaking markers for the most part, that and track memory are what drivers use most of the time in racing for breaking, not simply tree lines etc that can change. As long as the actual track is accurate, then thats what matters. And in this respect not only is forza more accurate with all of the updated graffiti, and ither aspects, its more alive than the GT track with the added foliage, lights and activity, and it doesn't have the pop in, and it just looks more realistic.

I've actually compared this to real Nürburgring footage. And the tree in Forza Motorsport is more accurate. The tree splits into two thick trunks. Allthough in Forza it looks like two trees it's still closer to the real one compared to gran turdismo 7 where the tree splits into 3 or even 4 main branches.

All of that is an over blown load of nonsense. They wouldn't be allowed to put the track out if it wasn't accurate. Tree lines change on racetracks all the time, as long as the track itself is accurate, the tree lines aren't an issue. That's why there are breaking markers etc.
