Im curious to do the same thing myself, did you use the motorcycle transmission? How did you work the drive train?

i remember the rallying at stobs camp. i was about 8 yrs old when my dad used to rally there. he was in the County Motors Club. iv got 2 vhs tapes of my old man in 1986 and 1987. my dad rallied a blue and yellow mk1 & 2 escort with Treadfast For Service on the side, then moved on to a silver and black chevette HS.

Lightened and balanced, twin 40's with a pretty wild cam. Modified head/valves and 4 branch manifold into a fabricated exhaust. Competition dizzy with luminition. Was dry sumped but presently running a high pressure high capacity pump, competition bearings. Straight cut dog box with twin plate paddle clutch and LSD.
