Man you made this look WAY easier than when i tried as a kid. Though i did not have the best grasp on the game like i do know. Like optimal gear and setups for characters hell even items. I used espers alot and still lost! I think i was underleveled for these fights though! Dunno if i ever finished the game. Heading to the local mckays tomorrow to try and pick up a copy of ff12 to finally best this awesome game. Thanks for these nifty guides! The only other esper i found by myself was cucuthalainn or however you spell it, in the sewers area, after the hunts. I only beat exodus though! Hahaha thanks for reawakenng some awesome memories for me, my friend!!! ❤

I got to say, this platinum is only hard because of this trophy. I'd have my platinum already. Good thing the trophy lists are combined for the different system's it's on...wouldn't want to redo this again...fun game, but not as a chore.

In UC 1 it was harder to do but still easy and after that EZ Brutal Trophy 🏆, now I have to do that after finsih my furst playthrough on brutal on uc 3 , then do the same uc 4 and Ll maybe that has a trophy like that too , idk 🤷‍♂️ . AND I couldnt even play it cuz I DIDNT KNOW u had to MANUAL save 😂 and I stopped my playthrough(s) without even saving and I was lowkey pissed 😂 , all that BEFORE autosaving , kids these days will never experience such an wholesome experience of discovering manual save everything is automatic and digital now and everything u do manually and physically gets EVEN MOORE worth , cuz its dersevable , if thats even a word , idk am Greek and I dont wanna look it up cuz I wanna see it so fuck u , if u say its not 😂

I can confirm that this still works as of July 26th (Hard -> Crushing) and July 27 (Crushing -> Brutal). I owned a Greatest Hits version of the collection as well, not the original release.

I can confirm that this works as of July 31st (Hard -> Crushing) and August 2nd (Crushing -> Brutal). For anyone having trouble, press X instead of Options when switching back to Crushing or Brutal!

I will have to try this accessory combination. I think I still have to get the mighty armless. I use 2 raging rubies to keep their mp flowing.

The desert area is better with the smaller enemies. 1st spot stand at the gate and shoot and get 1st medal. 2nd spot is the bend in the path between the two groups and get 2nd medal. Respawn the first 2 groups And warp back to gate and redo. If you run out of mp just build up to 30 mp by shooting monsters. As long as you got monsters to shoot at, the raging ruby will work! This is best way I found and how I got enough for the liquid metal shield.

This just isn't working for me either it stays on brutal and no tweaks or it stays on crushing with my tweaks. I've gotten all trophy's but brutal and donut Drake speed run.

What a bunch of nonsense The best and earliest method to obtain Nihopaloa is to kill at least 10 mark hunts, doable after obtaining the Dawn Shard. After defeating 10 or so mark hunts, return to Muthruu Bazaar and the secret shop will sell Nihopaloa for 30,000 gil It's best to obtain Nihopaloa ASAP because I use it to infiltrate Necrohol of Nabudis as soon as possible to obtain the Zodiac Spear. This is in the original PS2 game

Still works as of July 2024. I was playing the digital PS4 version on a PS5 for reference. Played up until the fountain fight in Chapter 21 on Brutal without any tweaks, got stuck, activated the tweaks as shown in this guide, resumed playing on Brutal and the trophy popped at the end! Thanks for this guide!

Guys this might be late , but today onwards 2024 I discovered that being in wayfinder is enough . I killed the thing with the 3 spell finishers. Fira, blizzaga and thundaga at al last and I got it . I was not even trying lol
