He did not say a damn thing wrong. Jon Juiceboy Jones and the UFC (aka Dana White) are in a pissing match to prove who cares the least about the sport of MMA and its fans. Juiceboy has shit on the fans for years, warming to the task of beating up old dudes, with the biggest names, who posed the least amount of risk. Someone here has made the comment that a fighter that has gone 15 years undefeated still has to deal with the attempts to discredit his resume. While it is true that he can only fight the people he is actually in the cage with, the "legends" that he fought were well beyond their primes. The best of Rampage and Rua were left in the PRIDE rings years before. Rampage beat Chuck twice... the second time was because Chuck was at the beginning of the end. Then Rampage lost the title to Forrest Griffin-- who in their right mind thought that Rampage could ever be a serious title threat again after that loss? Look at his record just prior to and just after the Jones fight. The wins are kind of ho-hum but the losses were all definitive. The UFC cashed in on his name value at just the right time to build the legacy of their future GOAT. It is the same with Rua, Belfort, and Machida, (Belfort and Machida would be recycled years later to build the mythology of Chris Weidman). This is how combat sports has always worked... and major sports in general. The old guard must be thoroughly dispatched before the new guard can thrive and claim its rightful throne. This is not Jon's fault, but, you cannot give him too much credit for that either. In my opinion, where Jon is solely accountable is in the food he left on the table at light-heavyweight... never fought Rumble Johnson, never fought Phil Davis, and never rematched Ryan Bader. All were top 5 in the world during the Juiceboy era. Rumble and Davis in the top 3. Bader top 5 and looking for that rematch. These were the young lions of the division. I watched Rumble nearly decapitate Daniel Cormier twice-- once with a kick, and once with a punch. He was ultimately defeated both times, but no one can tell me he was no threat to Juiceboy. Phil Davis-- the Bo Nickal of his era. Mr. Wonderful was not yet in his fighting prime-- he became a much better striker after leaving the UFC, but he was in his athletic prime, and potentially the one man Jones could never have outwrestled. Bader, of course, completes this triumverate, as the least dangerous of the three. Nonetheless, he was top 5 in the world, and deserving of the rematch at the time of his departure to Bellator. These fights never happened because the immature, cheating Jones took his success for granted... grew into his narcissism-- believing he was the center of the universe and had multiple title reigns interrupted for various arrests, PEDs, failed drug tests etc., proving his disdain for the sport and for the fans that made him what he is-- arguably the most complete combat sports athlete of all time. Instead, the sport and its fans had to settle with two fights against a 5'9, weight-cut depleted, and overmatched Cormier-- who following his final Olympic cycle, was already old when he started his MMA journey. Kudos to DC for finding a second athletic prime in another sport. By the way, I think Juiceboy would have defeated Rumble, Davis, and Bader. The point is, after wiping out the old guard, he needed to dominate his own generation against the best that generation had to offer. Had that happened, NOBODY would be questioning his resume. This did not happen. What did happen was, we saw second rate fighters like "Marretta" and Reyes give him holy hell. And so here we sit-- fifteen years later and in a new weight class-- and a new young lion has emerged, believed to be the best of this generation. The MMA world and its fans want this fight. But, once again, Juiceboy Jones is willing to say fuck this sport and fuck the fans. I am good- just like when he was snorting coke, crashing cars, being arrested, and using PEDs etc. I am the center of the universe. I do not need you... unless you PAY me... bribe me into redemption... bribe me into giving you what you want. And like Mr. Schaub said, the only reason you will not get what you want is because in the entire MMA world, there is only one man who is a BIGGER narcissist than Juiceboy Jones. He will not negotiate publicly. He will not admit defeat at the negotiating table. He will not pay Jones what he is worth... because like Jones, he does not give two shits about this sport or its fans. That man's name is Dana white. And so, we wait... By the way, I think Juiceboy beats Tom Asinine. Asinine's grappling/wrestling/submission game pose zero threat to Jon. He is totally one dimensional. Knockout or nothing. He has only the narrowest of paths to victory 1) lucky punch 2) disrupt Jon's base enough to create a scramble and find a finish. When Juiceboy neutralizes his striking, Asinine simply will not have enough tools in the toolbox to defeat him. True that Asinie is not 43 year-old Stipe-- but neither is Juiceboy. If that fight happens, Jones will be every bit as dangerous as Asinine. Remember, this would be Jon's last fight. He does not have to obliterate Asinine or finish him in the first round. He just needs to do what he has always done-- WIN. A decision, be it split or even controversial is just as good as a KTFO. world, there is one wants this fight. The sport needs this fight.

I feel like Sigmund Freud reading the comment section. It's deep and rich with envy, delusion, disrespect and denial for sure. I hope those dudes get their therapy in; they're going to need it. What I do know is, that after Jon tames Tom, he will next have to face Batman, Robin and an Orca whale, before you guys give Jones his due credit. Therapy's the answer guys.✌

Brendan Schaub critiquing and ranking Jon Jones? That’s bold. It’s like me critiquing Picasso’s brushwork-sure, everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but at a certain point, the art speaks for itself. Jon Jones has the GOAT resume, and love him or hate him, his dominance is undeniable. Critiquing a career like that feels more like noise than substance.

Jon isn't scared of tom BUT he's worried about his legacy which he's undefeated. So that's why he ducked Francis and now ducked aspinal. Jon know the dangers but in no way he's scared. He just worried about his perfect legacy. The guy is the GOAT he doesn't want to lose status, SO THE SQUEEZE MOST WORTH THE JUICE for him. So give him the money as guru said it which is probably 40-50 m as they said it

First glance, I agreed Shaub would wreck him as a natural heavyweight. The more i think about it and see happen, not so sure. Shaub has lost significant muscle mass, and i dont think he trains much anymore (prob rolls every now and then hits the heavy bag) Nate is still a gym rat. I dont think Nate can take him down, and i dont think he can do anything from guard. With that said, I dont know if Shaub can KO Nate either, prob close fight. PS: Cyborg wouldn’t get anhiiliated in mma, some of the dumbest shit i ever heard, even at 43 or whatever, Cyborg could walk into the ufc and beat alot of heavyweights.

People forget one thing about Jones he holds back and fights to the level of his opponents sometimes. He can even put in less effort if his next opponent is watching. He did that against OSP when DC was watching. He fought a completely different way when eventually fought DC and finished him.
