not always the cam why i said to check lash first,now need to figure what happened before dropping a new cam wrecking that one too maby call cam manufacturer welded cam?hmm engine rattling,Noisey?

@@kg2mb1 I think it was a pushrod issue cause I made my pushrods perfect length with a .060 head gasket on then dropped to a .010 gasket later without thinking about it

@@kg2mb1 I’m not sure they didn’t come with shims but I’m gonna take the lash caps off this time around so the tips aren’t as wide

next time before unbolting head,check lash, make sure valvetrain isnt holding the valves slightly open when Hot because this problem didnt happen for 20mins tells me something hot internally .carb just dosent go out of tune unless fuel obstruction....

Bro your motor still needs a vent its all sealed up put one more vent in the valve cover or just ask some fb predator 212 groups on how to vent the motor you really need a catch can too.

@@Goy-wc8od They sell ones on gopowersports Buy one of those that fits a 3/4 shaft and drill a hole that lines up with those holes on the side cover and bolt it together. Use your keyway from your clutch to hold it all together

@@jettsieger2910 yes it should if you have problems with clearance on the cam and crankshaft you’ll have to grind it down but there’s yt vids on how to do it

@@jettsieger2910 wym all these parts kinda go together like it’s not recommended to upgrade the cam without upgrading flywheel and rod because they could break and if you don’t use heavier springs then you’ll get valve float and you’ll loose power

Did you have to trim a little off the crack for clearance? In many other video they say you need to for the hemi 212 engines. Was thinking about rebuilding mine
