I remember walking to my friend’s house one early Saturday morning in 1995. He was playing Tekken with his older brother. I then realized this was something different than anything available on the Genesis. Nothing was ever the same after. 🫶🏼

Thanks for watching, they have just officially retconed this with the new archives added I am making a video on all the new story and lore added in the DLC and will be mentioning this change. But when I made the script for this video this was what Harrada said was the canon ending from Tekken 4: "(Three endings are partially canonical in Tekken 4, the first part of Heihachi's, the middle part of Kazuya's, and all of Jin's. Heihachi is the winner of the fourth tournament, having beaten Kazuya in the final round. (The battle at Hon-Maru takes place outside the tournament). Kazuya's Tekken 5 character profile confirms that he lost to his father in the fourth tournament.)"

@RESRetro That's strange, because in Jin's Tekken 4 ending, Kazuya says, "Rise, Kazama Jin!", which seems to happen in accordance to Kazuya ending while Heihachi is nowhere to be seen during Kazuya's command to Jin, and I'm assuming Heihachi's absence is due to him being blown out the door from Kazuya's Laser, and after Jin defeats Kazuya, Heihachi emerges from being unconscious and walks to Kazuya's unconscious body and says, "What a pathetic wretch...you worthless coward!" Kazuya winning Tekken 4 by default makes sense from the lore's perspective.
