Great recap, I know very little about Tekken lore. Other than the fact that there's a bear, some guy wearing a jaguar mask, and that the main characters have this weird obsession with throwing people off mountains. This really helped break it all down. Appreciate it!

I swear you guys have just thought up stuff in your own heads through assumptions. The story doesn't convey those notions at all as far as I can tell. Is Kazuya cool AF and an awesome FG char? Absolutely. Is he a deep, interesting and unique character? Hardly. He is a well made cookie cutter villain. His story, while horrible, is generic and straight forward. It's Tekken, not Breaking Bad. And that's fine. Just don't pretend it's deeper than it is.

Heihachi did not beat Kazuya in tekken 4 story, if he did he would’ve also been in chains. Kazuya won and they went to hon maru where Jin defeated both of them.

Thanks for watching, I know it's kinda weird but apparently all 3 endings from Heihachi, kazuya and Jin are partially correct. Here's what I found in my research. "(Three endings are partially canonical in Tekken 4, the first part of Heihachi's, the middle part of Kazuya's, and all of Jin's. Heihachi is the winner of the fourth tournament, having beaten Kazuya in the final round. (The battle at Hon-Maru takes place outside the tournament). Kazuya's Tekken 5 character profile confirms that he lost to his father in the fourth tournament.)"
