I dont understand the quilt. I tried it, i hated it. I do use it inside my large bag in cold weather and that works great.

I was happy enough to turn around and the beginning of the chain section. I probably would have tried it, but it was soo busy and I don't love heights.

My first aid has sole ownership on a clearly marked side pocket. It can stay untouched and always right there until needed.

On the Jetboil Stash: I have one. Meh? It's underpowered and suffers terribly in the wind. The redeeming quality for me is the heat exchanger, but you can get standalone pots with that to pair with better stoves like the Pocket Rocket or Soto Windmaster (and the latter can kinda simmer). The Stash has also let me down big time in cool/cold weather. I picked up an MSR Windburner for alpine/winter trips and it's certainly a weight penalty, but the performance is so much better.

You can do better with plain old supermarket food. In addition, most of these backpacking meals are loaded with sodium and other additives. The best option is to purchase a dehydrator and prepare the food yourself. That way you control what goes into them, and more importantly, what does not go in them.

We had a 2000 Northstar popup on our two Ram Cummins. Tons of storage and it never flapped. Plus you slept in a made up bed. No making a bed up or sleeping bags. Mention what suspension enhancements you had to do as I think you're overweight.
