Definitely would prefer the salt rim, that's what a Margarita is all about. Also if you can't find the white cranberry juice , I would suggest a white grape as opposed to the apple, I think it would be closer in flavor to the cran.

Hi Eric, the white grape juice is a great idea and will be close for sure.

I remember growing up in California in the 1960s and getting a fountain drink called the Orange Whip ,it was basically an orange cream slushy ,no alcohol , you served yourself straight from the soda fountain (a right of passage to adulthood for an 8 year old ! )😅🧡
@boozeontherocks2 сағат бұрын
I used to get them when I went to the mall as a kids too.
@haredr651121 сағат бұрын
Love it! I never knew this was a real drink, but the movie is THE BEST, and my friends and I always used, “Orange whip? Orange whip? Who wants an Orange whip?” to signify you’re offering to bring or buy the next round.

Going to try make this today for my Christmas Eve drink. I have attempted so many of your drinks in past that came out well so big fan of yours. but I will have to sub out that cachaca stuff for vodka as I’ve got vodka and can’t now get cachaca for today. Hopefully still comes out well. Merry Christmas everyone!

Sounds good, will try. Since the White Cranberry Juice is predominately White grape juice and then cranberry, it makes sense that, really any sweet clear fruit juice would work for the flavor profile. I plan to try it with grape juice from my champagne grape vines and shake it with cranberries

I've been making Irish coffees and calypso coffees for years....especially when we have guests or family for dinner or festive occasions and I was always taught to leave a spoon in the glass when adding the hot coffee as it has been known for the glass to crack with the heat added to quickly...serves two purposes as when you stir it and remove the spoon it helps floating the cream on top....Personally I have had it happen to me but could always be down to a flaw in the glass. Great selection of winter warmers matey, Nollick Ghennal as blien vie noa (manx) happy holidays to you and yours.

3.5 shots in this one drink folks and sure as the sun you'll be done...What I have done is to make enough mixer for the fridge and pour some into a smaller glass and add the Sprite instead of the Soda water and like he said, makes a world of difference, but trust me also like he said one or two even at half the amount in glass and you start to feel the buzz...Don't drink and drive, be safe call for a ride or just stay on the floor of your friends house if you bring an AK-47 to the party (the drink that is) that's most likely your suite for the night anyway...Cheers!
