We use to get stoned and watch these in high school. We had it on dvd, shit was hilarious. Best fight scenes ever.

Back then, all people ever knew of fighting is that to throw a punch yoh also be need to take a punch. Physical brawls with multiple men gets messy.

Fight scenes are better than I remember. Lewis Wilson gets around better than I realized. He was in his 30s at the time. But there are times it doesn't look like him in the costume. Maybe they did have stunt doubles. Doug Croft does real well if it's him in the fighting scenes all time. Notice how Batman's utility belt is in different places during the fight scenes and when Wilson is just standing there the next time you watch the serial. Wilson looks like the belt is higher when he's in costume. Doug Croft was young here. He moves around and takes a lot of falls . I think they had stunt doubles.

I remember watching this series and kept feeling bad seeing Robin always get his butt kicked and on one episode he actually tried run away from a fight only for the villain to actually pull his cape and punch him out LMAO in a way this is more realistic and shows being a vigilante is not all glory it's hard work and not rewarding you can get seriously hurt

to be fair batman did probaly get his ass kicked alot but people like to believe he was untouchable in a fight.No flips and shaky camera just straight up fist to fist brawling.This batman I like.

I think it’s strange that as a kid I was told by people that Adam west was the very first actor to play Batman and it wasn’t until I grew up and became a Batman super-fan that I discovered the Batman serials through my own research. Adam west was not only not the first Batman but he was the 3rd. I wonder why the first two actors to play Batman in history were just sort of swept under the rug and aren’t really talked about or given the credit for being the very first adaptation of Batman. Makes me wonder if in 70 or 80 years audiences will give the same treatment to the Batmen we grew up with like Keaton, Kilmer and Bale and they will be just tidbits of knowledge held onto by batman super-fans.
