I think the flex needs to be fixed. In Espn’s nfl fantasy the flex position is only available to certain positions so that might be a way to stop the two rucks thing. Thanks for the video guys. Draft is just not popular in Australia for some reason when it is THE fantasy game in America. Well done patch on pulling them up on the jargon. But I do believe the snake draft is a bit unfair actually if you have a genuine game to determine draft picks. For example if you “win” the pick 1, you’ll get pick 1 in the snake but then fall to pick 16 or something.

Thanks for listening! First year of the flex position, feedback will be taken on board for any future innovations going forward. Yes - Patch 4 PM! Just our opinion on the snake draft given you have a major advantage getting the first pick in every round, but different strokes for different folks :)

I reckon the flex position is to counter AFL Fantasy utility, & to simplify complex trades without trading players back in & to help keep teams active when we've run out of trades (without further increasing trades)? Thst said, QOL changes are rapidly gamified, it'll be interesting to see how different ploys fare.

JHF is the top averaging forward based on last season - scoring nine 100-plus scores last season (eight 110-plus), and averaged 99.7! It's fair to say he's not a lock, but recent history says he's a pretty reliable scorer as a forward option :)

Observation - every one of your lock shares round 12 bye. If you add likely locks Caleb Daniel, Xerri & Bont, thats a lot of holes to fill. I have reluctantly faded JHF and Butters to even out the spread of byes.

A great observation - been looking heavily at the early byes, but those later ones could sting too! There are a stack of other players without the round 12 bye in most of our sides too though (Macrae, Peatling, Oliver, Mills), and with best 18 we are given some leeway.

Do teams with rnd 3 bye get a price rise first? Opening Round - points matter for price Only, not counted towards your score?

Hey Shane, correct. SuperCoach starts in round 1 but Opening Round scores will affect price changes as per usual. If they play three games (including opening round) by the end of round 2, they will have one price change based on all three games played.
