I am 55 and 155kg. Haven’t exercised in years. Maybe level 0-1. Started focusing on nutrition and walking. Up to 1.5 miles 5 days a week.

Never Trained for Cali til a month ago where a joined my Universities Calisthenics club. I am at lvl 5.I am a powerlifter. I think some of my Deadlift and bench skills carry over a lot as well as body tension. I am currently working on Front lever pull ups as well as full planche pushups. I somehow can hold stuff like a Front Lever easily for 10+s i have no idea why I like static movements. I want to be able to do clapping planche push ups one day and Hit a 2x bodyweight bench. (Currently at 1.7x)

omg, when I started this again, I noticed my forearms were perpendicular to the floor and it worried me because when this happens it means the arms are way out ahead of the body. I feel like this puts a lot of stress on the elbows. An alternative would be to do ring pulls ups and allow the wrists and elbows to do as they please.

Great video guys! I'm between 2 and 3, can do muscle ups, but not yet handstand push ups. I don't have a good L-sit yet but I'm training for the front lever already, is it a bad thing?

im a mix of level 2 and 3, like i can only do like max 10 pushups, 1 dip's and 1-2 pullups, but i can also hold tucket planch for around 5 seconds.

I only do 30 V-ups and 20 lying Windshield wipers. Both with 1 kg ankle weights in each leg. And it burns up my whole core

I'm Level 3 at the moment. I hoping to get the Mobility program because I just realised flexibility is as important as building muscle / strength.

Just started doing mainly rings which i find are the most fun. I try to do almost all excersises in rings in order to train the selected muscle as well as my core and stabilizer muscles. Its pretty tough, but when I then try excersises on the ground or on bars, i feel like im cheating there, as they just seem easier. Thanks a lot for the info about progression, it humbled me.

Cheers to all of us striving to improve our life/fitness journeys! As a beginner in calisthenics I’m amazed by how much I’ve learned so far. Each video inspires me to push my limits and embrace new challenges. I was truly inspired by today’s video on the progression pyramid and how exercises grow in complexity. Understanding the structured approach to calisthenics through your model has clarified so much for me. It’s fascinating to see how I can gradually advance from simpler exercises to more complex ones as I build my strength and skills. Winning a course from you would be incredibly beneficial in helping me navigate through these levels with precision and confidence. Thanks for the chance to transform my approach to fitness with such a great training strategy!

I've been stuck between levels 3 and 4 for a while now. I guess mostly I don't have the dedicated time to progress further in strength skills, as I've pick up running as my main sport this year. And of course I perform some better than the others, like I can do a sissy squat with easy, but still suck at free handstand. And since I'm getting older now, the main thing I wanna focus now is mobility and longevity in sports. Mobility 2.0 lottery ticket posted😂

I see myself as a beginner, perhaps experienced beginner, but according to the list in the video I would be labelled intermediate and in some cases even advanced. I would shift, and rename some of the steps in this ladder. Like, how can you be advanced or expert in a field you haven’t mastered yet?
@seanpon26682 күн бұрын
real end of beginner, not bad, considering i am one (almost intermediate) plus not a calisthenics athlete
