Thank you for the video, I've been searching for a week for the best way to install my locs on my short hair. This is by far the best one that I've found. And your hair style turned out great!

Please share the hair gel you used to section your parts. Also list the name brand of the hair if you can. This is perhaps the easiest way I've seen and your hair looks AMAZING ❤

Congratulations and best wishes on your new journey!!! I'm glad you had the insight to take a break. Comparison is the thief of joy. We never know what route, battles, or losses people endured to get where they are.

I’ve been locd for a few months and I only wash when I retwist and condition it with water and blue magic. Lightly. I love it.

Both sets of locs were and are beautiful, but you have to be happy with your hair. I completely understand about not being happy with your first set because i wasn’t happy with mine either, so i combed them out and then years later i decided to loc my hair again. So now i’m almost 4 months loc’d. I’m happy you decided to get locs again.

I feel you on being the kind of person who just tries things and finds out later😂 everything in life is really just a big trial and error lol. I've been using minoxidil on my brows and it definitely works but I've also heard the same things about it in general so I'm scared to put it on my hair cuz that's such a larger area. But if you ever want to try anything else for the hairline, try amla oil! It's an Indian herb based oil with natural ingredients that promote a healthy scalp and hair growth. I've only started using it myself but it seems very promising from what I've hear!

HAAA! I came on here looking for an update from you THREE days ago and got off when I didn't see one. Come on today and see you posted 2 days ago. Lol. Anyhoo, I combined 4 of the Blue Magic greases into one jar. I use it during my retwists (last one was last Monday), and I greased my scalp last night. I use very little, but our hair was much healthier when we were "greasing" our scalps back in the day, before all the natural gurus shunned it. I also oil it with an oil mixture every once in a while. They're doing pretty good. The 5th was my 6-month mark. I appreciate and look forward to your updates!! 😁

manifestation always felt like a guessing game to me. repeat affirmations, hope for the best, and wait. but when i read Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, it all started to make sense. chapter 3 completely shifted my understanding of how energy works. after applying just a few ideas, things started falling into place.

there was a point in my life when everything seemed off. wrong people, wrong opportunities-it was all wrong. someone suggested i read Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and wow, it opened my eyes. there’s a part where it explains how your energy creates patterns you don’t even realize. chapter 4 hit me the hardest-it’s life-changing.

one night, i was scrolling aimlessly, frustrated with where my life was going. that’s when i stumbled across Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. reading it was like turning a key in a locked door. chapter 5 especially stood out-it’s wild how much one chapter can completely shift your mindset.

i hit a point where i couldn’t figure out why things weren’t working out for me. other people seemed to manifest success effortlessly, while i stayed stuck. then i came across Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and the way it explains energy blew my mind. there’s a section in chapter 3 that really stands out-it helped me see how much power i already have.

i remember feeling completely stuck, like no matter what i did, life wasn’t moving forward. nothing worked-journals, affirmations, vision boards. then i found Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it felt like everything clicked. especially chapter 3, where it dives into energy alignment-it’s like it was written just for me.

I too have medium density, fine hair and decided to go smaller, thanks to you. I started with 86 locs 2 years ago, but wasn't in love. Started seeing your videos and watched your journey for a little while before deciding to start over after 10 months of locking. I combed these bad boys out and 128 locs later, I'm happy. Gives me the fullness and size I was looking for.

Yes! When you stop using minoxidil, will experience hair shedding and the area will thin out and go back to the way it was before, if not worst. I’ve never used it, but I know real life people that have, which is the reason I would not use it. I do want to try Batana oil though (check spelling), I hear it also gives results and it’s all natural. Oh, and I use blue magic too. I also use Dax Indian hemp. I’m a hair grease girl. I do not suffer from build up, I do wash my hair once a week unless I have a fresh retwist, I wait a month. I get my retwist every 3-4 months, so it gives me time in between to do haircare. Anyway, your Loc’s are lovely. Please don’t restart them, they are small enough and very healthy. Don’t fix what’s not broken. And yes, ultimately it’s your hair, your choice. I’m just giving my opinion.

That’s just one possible side effect, some ppl have breakouts, headaches, it varies. The hair does not fall out for everyone
