Hell yeah I'm ready. I'm typing this on July 25th, 2024, so I need to go download it. I already bought it on Steam and that's the next game that I'm going to work on. Will be a little while before I start uploading missions, but that's the next game I'll upload. Thanks for the comment. 🙂

Good to see Victory again. I used to watch her playthroughs in OG DmS many times. Them were some good playthroughs. DmS was always my favorite FromSoft game. I did a build based on her, in The DmS remake. Was awesome .

I always appreciate these kinds of comments. My videos for ER won't get very many views, but your kindness makes it all worth it. I don't know how fast I'll finish the DLC - I've found stuff with my other builds that I didn't find with her, so I'm having to search, but I won't waste too much time, that way the videos flow smoothly. =)

Aha. My shmup vids get more views than my Souls stuff. I'm glad you get some enjoyment out of this. I work full time, so about the only time I upload is when I have a passion for something. Next will be EDF6. =)

Hey man glad to see you back, I enjoyed your R-Type videos in the past. Currently I've been on R-Type urge lately and I just finished beating Final 2 for the first time and I'm planning to unlock everything (ships and stages) before starting to 1CC. My new 3 goals for the series is: 1CC Delta with Albatross and POW armor (have done with the other ships), 1CC/Nomiss Final 1 on R-Typer difficulty no custom ships, and clearing R-Type Complete CD because I like the OST in this port lol.

Good luck on No Missing Final - it's a tough game that's not balanced at all. I don't like using custom ships either, because I always feel cheap, but I did what I had to to win. =D

I've done it before, but there's so much randomness with Lance's pinball attack that I didn't want to stress, so I just kept played for an A Rank and I was okay with that. I S Ranked the game in 2004 and my data is still on this memory card. =)

still one of the greatest PS2 games ever manifested, the true biblical experience! i was able to get a S rank in the end but had to restart stage 5 and thankfully fluked it from there on out! haha! great gameplay from you! your EDF videos are nostalgic as well!

Thank you. Lance's pinball attack is very unfair because it's RNG - my only complaint about this game. As for EDF, I waited on EDF6 to release on Steam, but I'm going to upload that one too on Inferno.

Read the video description for time stamps and my thoughts on Contra. Of course, nobody reads the video description, so at least read this - you earn permanent extra lives by playing solo. You earn extra continues by playing cooperatively with someone. This is on Normal difficulty - you can't reach beyond stage 5 if you play on Easy.

Yes. I own EDF4.1 on Steam and they are absolutely dark. I like that the Steam version has the English translation, but you can play it with Japanese audio.

Picking the valley of defilement before fighting king allant and then true king allant was the best choice I did in gaming this boss fight was stuck in my head along with the true ending of demon's souls. And then the credits music.. ugh, that freaking credits music made me feel so empty after finishing the game.

I really love the theme of "comfort in suffering", and this is one of the best executions. It's clear that Miyazaki loves it as well as it's also the theme of the Painted Worlds in Dark Souls. An empty cold world where the lost and the sinners go to find comfort in one another, they may even commit atrocities to protect this dark prison of comfort. It's a really grim theme and I still feel like Astrea and Garl are the perfect example of it because they're not as antagonistic as Sister Friede and Sir Vilhelm and we get to know them better than Priscilla.

It's a long game, moreso because of the slowdown on the PS2. There are five variations of stage 2, three different versions of stage 6, and three different versions of the final stage, so yeah, there's quite a bit to see. =)

So, I’m confused…this level is the pilot being sent back in time following Nomemayer’s defeat and the R-9A Arrowhead boss fight is the pilot fighting and killing their past self…?

You could read it that way, but there are multiple R-Types. I always thought that there were at least three pilots that made it to the endgame - one to destroy the Bydo, one to go into Summer Night, and the last to travel to 2501. We all know that that there are many EAAF Space Corp pilots, so it's not necessarily the player ship that you're killing at the end of F-B.
