Definitely considering one of these. How easy would it be to load and unload into an f150 solo?

It weights about 325lb with out an espresso machine on it. It takes two to remove the lid safely- but with a ramp loading into a truck would be easy.

Hello, what type of water do you fill the Aquitainer with? I’m debating between the 5 gallon water jug vs the 7 gallon aquatainer. I thinking I’m going to have to fill the aquatainer with the 5 gallon water jug of filtered water… but I feel like it would be a little bit of a hassle and waste? Would love some feedback and thoughts on this, thank you!
@Caffewerks
@Caffewerks 4 ай бұрын
Great question. Using filtered water is important. You could use a water jug filling station found at many grocery stores or camping/rv stores. Primo Water offers them in many locations. You could use tap/potable water and then add a dual stage filtration panel to your water pump system (caffewerks.com/collections/water-filtration) You could install a water filtration system in your commissary kitchen or where ever your registered prep space is. You could use tap/potable water and then use something like 3rd wave water packages to adjust the water quality. So lots of options!

Typically your espresso machine will come with a drain hose, so you'll use that. We offer a drain hose that works great with the spin jet rinser: caffewerks.com/products/pitcher-rinser-drain-hose-for-300mm-600mm-rinsers?_pos=2&_psq=drain-ho&_ss=e&_v=1.0 You can feed both drain hoses into a waste water container.

Does the pump run each time you use the rinser and/or pull a shot? I was ready to order a kit but the noise just through me off :( Would there be a way to fix that? Maybe "encasing" the pump? That being said, it's a pretty neat system though. Exactly what I have been looking for.
@Caffewerks
@Caffewerks Жыл бұрын
Hello! ALL pump systems will make noise, its part of the function. The volume of the sound will depend on the material you place the system on (Wood Vs Metal) The accumulator helps keep the pump from engaging (turning on) with each shot you pull. The larger the accumulator, the less the pump will turn on and off.

Random question, but I've been wondering about using a Flojet and accumulator to plumb in a new espresso machine, but I don't have room for a 5 gal tank nearby. Does the pump produce enough pressure (head) to allow the watertank to be a floor below my kitchen?...oddly that would be my easiest solution.

Yes and no. It could work, its just a long way to travel. We have a client that made a platform, a floor below, but high on the ceiling, so that the tank was as close as possible. It worked and was pretty cool!

Any tips on how to reduce noise on the medium volume system? After the accumulator empties, and the pump kicks in, its quite noisy for about 60-90 seconds. It is pretty loud when it kicks in and im talking to customers. the noise is coming from the the pump, and pickup tube itself and not from anywhere else. It seems the pickup tube is vibratiing alot inside the water tank. I've tried multiple different methods on trying to reduce this noise. The aquatainer is on a 3/4 inch rubber mat to help with vibration. Ive been thinking about building some type of soundproof box to cover the pump/accumulator with
@Caffewerks
@Caffewerks Жыл бұрын
Great question. All pump systems will make sound. Theres no way to silence it completely. Adding a rubber mat under the accumulator & Pump will help with vibrations. The volume level may also be aided by the material your cart is made of, wood vs metal, etc. If you want to send an email with photos of your set up we may be able to come up with more solutions.
