Do you still need a water softening and filtration system?

We always suggest using some kind of Filtration. We have panel mounted Dual stage filters, as well as in line filters. Depends on your water, and your needs!

my order didn't have plugs when it arrived. When removing tubing from connections it makes mark on the tube, do I need to cut the part where it has marks when reconnecting the same tube? I need to remove mine when transporting it to fit in my container.

Unless the edge (where the tubing meets the fitting flat) gets damaged, you should be okay.

This is to pump water in to the espresso machine and pitcher rinser but what gets connected for the gray water to come out!

Typically your espresso machine will come with a drain hose, so you'll use that.
