Whether a car loan is considered "good" debt depends on various factors and individual circumstances. Here are some points to consider when evaluating whether a car loan is a good type of debt: 1. **Purpose:** If the car loan is used to purchase a reliable vehicle that meets your transportation needs and improves your quality of life (such as commuting to work, transporting family, etc.), it can be seen as a beneficial investment. 2. **Interest Rates:** Lower interest rates on car loans make them more manageable and less costly over time. If you can secure a favorable interest rate, it may make the loan a better option. 3. **Loan Terms:** Shorter loan terms generally result in less interest paid overall, making the loan more favorable. Longer loan terms may lead to lower monthly payments but could cost more in interest over the life of the loan. 4. **Credit Building:** Successfully managing a car loan by making timely payments can help improve your credit score over time, which can be beneficial for future borrowing opportunities. 5. **Asset vs. Depreciation:** Unlike some other forms of debt (like credit card debt used for non-essential items), a car loan is typically tied to a tangible asset (the car). However, it's important to note that cars depreciate in value over time, so the asset's value may decline faster than the loan balance. 6. **Affordability:** It's crucial to ensure that the monthly payments for the car loan fit comfortably within your budget and don't strain your finances. Factor in other car-related expenses such as insurance, maintenance, and fuel costs. 7. **Alternative Financing:** In some cases, alternative financing options such as leasing or buying a used car outright may be more financially advantageous than taking on a car loan, depending on your needs and financial situation. Ultimately, whether a car loan is considered good debt depends on how well it aligns with your financial goals, budget, and ability to manage the loan responsibly. It's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully and make an informed decision based on your individual circumstances.

“Invasion through the southern border” anddddd Tommy loses credibility just like that. You’re no better than Dave Ramsey when you inject unnecessary political or bigoted commentary like that. Pretty much all terrorist threats in the US are domestic and from unhinged lunatics that consume a far right media diet. Don’t believe me? Ask the Republican appointed directors of our security apparatus and agencies. It’s self fulfilling and it leads to broken credibility from an otherwise accurate source.

Nothing is quantified with only general references. For example, what is the cost of Life Insurance?

Term insurance has costs but I was talking about Cash Value Life Insurance. My whole life policy has far more cash value than the premiums I paid.

I Agree Tom. If the advisor had any kind of good presentation and had asked good Questions BEFOREHAND, there is no way he would have gotten a small percentage of that amount of objections. He should ask things like, If there was a way that you could get credits from the market, when it was going up, that could be locked in so that when the market is crashing, those gains are kept and not a single dime would ever leave your account ....at the very least- would you be curious enough to want more information if such a product existed? Are you aware that products exist that can protect your portfolio from nursing home spend-down or lawsuit? If you could still have great upside potential without having to suffer the volatility and downside of the market, would you like to learn more about these opportunities? Can you imagine running out of Money in retirement? If there was a way to turn your retirement savings into a lifetime income stream that you’ll never outlive - would that be something that would be important to you? (guess who taught me all these good questions?)

One of the really disturbing comments on YELP regarding Fisher Investments - aside from the lousy investment returns - is that it seems like it is VERY difficult to get money of Fisher Investment which to me borders on violations of FINRA regulations which requires transfers in good order to be sent within seven days.

Annuities are never a necessary part of a retirement plan. Listen to your voice you sound like a gangster. If you want to guaranteed income that gets eaten alive by inflation if you're fortunate enough to live 20 years after retirement, then buy an annuity and you will be sure to eating cat food for the rest of your life. You people that sell these products or Crooks and criminals and you belong in prison.

ALTHOUGH LIFE TIME ANNUITY IS NECESSARY BUT HAVING STEADY INCOME IS MORE CRUCIAL FOR YOUR RETIREMENT PLANNING. Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. I'm 40 and my wife 34. We are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income.

If I put $100k in, what are the total fees / commissions in the first year?
@jonathanratliff4780
@jonathanratliff4780 Жыл бұрын
There are zero fees in fixed income annuities and fixed rate return Annuity‘s. Annuities in the markets are called variable annuities have fees just like any other variable instrument like mutual funds, ETFs etc. Commission to the producer typically is about 3 or 4% one time only and that’s not taken out of the annuitants money that’s paid by the insurance company out of their general fund to the producer.
@TomHegna
@TomHegna 11 ай бұрын
Correct. There are no fees in an income annuity. Commission is paid by the insurance company not the client.

Hi Tom - This great! I just joined as lifetime member. Is there a step by step video for the 1st appointment? Is that the coaching section where we can select 2 options?
